What they didn't tell you in the documentary is that throughout many wars the Chin ethnic were the career soldiers who was loyal and fought gallantly for the central government since the British colonial rule. Being born with the talents in hunting and fighting, they are well-known and well-respected warriors in Burma. Now they have a big score to settle with the junta military. A wounded tiger is a lot more dangerous than a normal one. Moreover this tiger has a gift in hunting.

Speaking of ethnic and religious tragedies Burma/Myanmar facing today, the fact that the world's longest Civil War which is in Myanmar, mainly between Buddhist Burmese and Christian ethnic people was made it possible, prolonged and supported by Anglo Western bloc of USA, UK & Australia, etc while they are using next-door neighbor Thailand (which has a defense treaty with them) as a base camp since in the 1950. In my humble opinion, ethnic refugees & others fleeing the conflict/war in Myanmar are entitled to cross over to Thailand to stay, as well as eligibility to relocate to new places such as the USA, Australia, New Zealand.

India has no intention of interfering in the internal matters of Myanmar, but only wants to help the people of Chinland who are suffering from violence and oppression by the military junta. India has a moral obligation to stand by the democratic aspirations of the Chin people, who share ethnic, cultural and religious ties with India. India also has a strategic interest in ensuring that Myanmar does not become a pawn of China, which is trying to expand its influence and presence in the region. Therefore, I think that India should seriously consider doing peacekeeping missions in Myanmar, as many retired army officers have suggested. It will not only be a humanitarian gesture, but also a wise move to safeguard India's own security and interests in the region to stop mass illegal immigration in the country.
