Artem High End Sailcloth (Strap fest)

To provide some balanced view here. I bought 3 straps from them. Despite their claims, the straps are not softer than some other cheap alternatives. I actually consider they are on the stiff end. Evidently, one of the 3 straps, after no more than 20 use, developed a crack near the pin whole, assuming due to repeated bending when put on/off the watch. This was their previous generation product, which the material has more matt appearance. When this happened the strap was almost in new condition. They reluctantly replaced the strap with current generation product, which has more shin appearance. They consider it as gesture in good faith as the strap is out of warranty. However, it's in fact an insult to consumer, as Australia consumer law demands reasonable durability on top of factory warranty. When the whole strap was in near new condition, there is a strong argument on the durability of their product. Being an Australian business they should be aware and comply all applicable laws. The point is that based in Australia, I obviously enjoy the protection and since they replace the strap I did't bother o argue the case. But if you are outside Australia, you need understand who are you dealing with and whether they are ready standing behind the quality of their product.

I've just looked at their straps and they do look good for the price, but I don't think they look as good as the Artem ones but they are 3x less in price

Do they have Sailcloth straps for Panerai watches lug width 24mm tapering to 22mm ? Because i can't find it on the website

Great vid! Wondering on wrist if you are seeing the bump in the strap from the quick release mechanism or mechanism itself especially when more of a gap between strap and case? That would make me prefer the non quick release. Good thing is we have options.

Hi Barry, nice video on Artem Straps Don’t like the clasp maybe it’s because of close up the clasp looks bit too big , as for the design they do look well made my opinion the regular pin buckle it’s much better option my opinion as have some kind of those other buckle systems have myself the ones made in carbon composite well made expensive plus but to high on the wrist that’s why prefer single pin , do Artem sells it to Portugal or just Uk etc ? Customs fees in Europe are very expensive! All that said like the blue one and one question @Barry that Seiko Tuna is the Baby version? Like those limited editions Save the Ocean? All the best mate

Hi Sir and thank you :) , they do ship to Portugal so no worries there , The Seiko is the Prospex Save The Ocean Antarctica Tuna SRPG59K1 its a cool model and is becoming harder to find I believe.

Nice one! A good thing about them is that they do offer odd sizes... I seem to have accumulated a collection of watches which uses 19/21/23mm straps... I'm not sure why the loopless deployment straps are sooooo much more expensive than the pin buckles tho.

Mine, like another commenter, got cracked. I have three. They’ve all cracked, and now they’re coming apart. I’m so disappointed. I never thrashed them or went crazy…I just wore them. After about 6 months, this occurred. So I’ve lost confidence in their products, and am going to Blancpain in the future.
