I got a Casio duro that I knew I would wear daily. I live in Fl and the humidity and heat is intense. I purchased the artem sailcloth and it has been the best purchase imaginable. Very happy with my decision.

@@heinerjurgens5362 you are absolutely correct! it was a present for working ten years at my job. It holds sentimental value and I wanted I great strap. It’s a killer combo for the price point.

I gotta try one of those Artem straps. Canvas straps are also super comfortable. I just got one and there was no break in period. The canvas was soft and supple right out of the box...but yeah I'm gonna get one of these Artem straps and that milled dèployant clasp

Great video, but the whole 'need it to do my job' thing is kind of funny, considering you're using a $10k watch to count 10 seconds. You own luxury watches because you like them.

Thanks, I do agree that a most every watch can count 10 seconds very accuracy. However very very few watches can do that over and over again over decades while I beat the hell out of them with little upkeep. That is why I work with well made mechanical watches. I have had so many watch fail on my while I'm out in the field, never a my Rolex Explorer II or Submariner. Cheers

Man I don’t think Rolex watches give that enough space for straps these days. Didn’t you experience that the straps chafing with the watch case?

I see what you are saying, Yeah the straps will rub a bit on the bottom of the lugs, but once that .01mm is rubbed away it wasn't an issue.

No way I’d trust those spring bars on a $10k watch. Stick with the Rolex spring bars.

I have had no issues with the spring bars that came with the straps. They feel more robust than others from other brands.

@@cheynewallsI still wouldn’t trust them. You won’t have any issues until you have your first issue, the spring bar fails, and the watch falls off of your wrist and down a canyon or to the bottom of the ocean. I’d highly recommend sticking with the Rolex factory spring bars. That being said, to each their own.
