Live in Monaco also and it is great to see Pogacar training up the familiar col de la Madone route. The video stopped just before reaching Saint Agnes, about two thirds of the way up - I often stop there for a cappuccino rather than doing the 970m in one stretch. Pogacar is really taking it easy in zone 2 which he said is around 320-340 (assuming he's a bit lighter than you and based on you averaging around 350 here). Thank you for uploading. I went up yesterday and might do another loop tomorrow after seeing this. Monaco has incredible climbs all around it. Col de la Madone (970), col de Braus (1000m), col de Turini (1600m), a lot of other fun climbs, and lots of beautiful villages to stop for coffee and energy. I have been passed by pros many times during my rides, including Chris Froome, Richie Porter (I rode with him part of the way up Turini but I was eventually dropped despite he was in zone 2) which adds to the excitement of training here.

Nice, I actually have a KOM here at the Costa Daurada where Pogacar also rode. The segment is called 'Pedrera-Ronda' in Altafulla (near Tarragona). It was on the 22nd of March 2024. The day when a Volta a Catalunya stage started in Altafulla. And there you have it. It was a neutralized start 😀 (I was behind them so I actually had to slow down otherwise I would have overtaken them an entire professional peloton 😀Still, 7 km/h faster than the fastest of the peloton, Ilan Van Wilder.
