Just casually talking at 300+ watts and 22+ km/h on 4%+ grades - no big deal. HR probably in zone 2/3 .... these guys make it look so easy. Awesome video!

Many years ago I hopped on the back of Gerolsteiner team as they trained for the then Tour of California. One of the best days on the bike. Was immediately humbled when the road went up and I couldn't hang on. As I dropped off the riders were having calm conversations together. Case of us and them. Much respect.

Your videos remind me of that scene in the movie Breaking Away... where the Italians(!) came to this guy's small midwest town to train or race... and he went out to ride with them... and they can't dropping him... and he's claw his way back... and then one of them finally stuck a bike pump through his front wheel and he did a front flip.

That's exactly 100% Correct. I am 65yrs old and Y/day did 119ks 680 Elevation. Unfortunately I have been suffering from Chronic Concussion Headaches and Migraines for 7yrs 2day from a MVA . However if l was well enough l would be riding 480ks one week & 725 ks the next & repeating that each month . The 1st week ( 480 ks would be 2/3 sessions of efforts ) & 2nd week low, medium, high zone 2 with some Tempo efforts thrown in ) Elevation would be 1000 /2500 mtrs . How l wish l was Young Again. Been riding since l was 16yrs old . Was on the Australian Slalom and White Water 💧 Canoe Team . Love ❤️ Cycling my SL7 S-WORKS & SL8 S-WORKS .
