I feel like the new one doesn't have as coherent of a theme and lacks emotion. It's not as loud and dramatic and I feel like the makers were trying to make it look more official. I think the new one is more boring but still a great mod!

Ok so, by an OBJECTIVE measure the quality of this new version is better. The sound QUALITY and the art assets are better. But honestly they really dropped the ball with a lot of it, it lost a lot of its soul from the original. The effects are not good. They removed my fav polo (whatcha gonna do about that) the monotone orange made the original visually interesting, while the new one is very generic and samey to other recent mods.

Imma say this, some sounds are out of sync and effects feel unusable, the beats aren't just heavy enough and melodies don't feel as strong as the scratch version

And if I have to be honest, the voices with lyrics are shit. The fast rapping voice from the scratch mod was far better and voice 1 from scratch mod was good too.

I feel like this isn't trying to be a faithful recreation of Wolfgang by Saro this is just trying to be a better Wolfgang, and while Wolfgang definitely did need some improvements, the "Improvements" they did mainly just made it worse. Something that was special about the original Wolfgang is that it used samples pulled straight from the original song, this one just seems to be trying too hard to make Wolfgang look like an official mod, hence the small effects that barely do anything, which I'm pretty sure was just a copy of The Last Day's style, but here's the thing, Wolfgang was never meant to be or look official. It's fucking epic car chase music, but the new one takes all of that charm, throws it out the window like garbage, and tries to make basically a whole new thing, but ends up horribly failing. TLDR; New Wolfgang throws away all the charm the original has, for a cheap copy and paste remake trying to look and sound "official", but in the process, just ends up ruining what Wolfgang was originally supposed to be: A remake of Wolfgang by Saro, and fucking badass car chase music. i dont think i have seen the scratch mod, but seeing it here, yeah, i vibe with the scratch more. from animation, to design and sound, yeah idk how good either sounds in terms of mixing, but just from this comparison, i think the original just sounds better honestly i didn't paid attention to the title too much so i thought this was old vs new, but then realized it's new vs old lol

It's very questionable because they changed the sounds of some characters and discarded others, I simply preferred the Beats, effects and melodies (all of them) from the Scratch version, Two of the Beats like 1°&3°, I found it tolerable, effect 5 preferred the old sound, the additions of those two new effects I found to be a bit of a copy of downtown, and I still prefer melody 5 from Scratch, And I found the voices to be the best part (except that 5th one which I thought was poorly used, not even for them to include Scratch's 1st or 3rd voice), but in any case I'm left with the Scratch version, And the voices in this version (minus the 5th)

I'm my personal opinion, I think, that: Bass should be a little louder and I also liked the idea from scratch. Secondary I like the 2nd melody in scratch (3rd in new) and I think this is quite a downgrade to me (it reminded me of lacasa de papel🤣).

You know, let's be honest here, the scratch version was SO MUCH BETTER than the pc port we have now, the pc ported version is not made the same as the scratch version and it doesn't look/sound like it was made of hardwork or even a pure heart/desire of some kind, if the pc port version was the exact same as the scratch version: there would be no problem, heck, it even has the same type of designs/sounds that's from PFB's mods. (the last day and downtown)

i never metionned it but the scratch version was the most rushed mod in incredibox history, it was halfway done and was rushed in under 30mins during the release day, and no shit it has the "same designs" its clothes (and look at the credits before saying its copied)

You have seen how scratch character designs can be pretty big, compared to average size of Incrediman. In original game's engine you can't do it, the character's maximum aspect ratio is 328x760. It can't go higher or wider

down below's what I think about both versions new b1 = old b1 + old b2. Either ways, I prefer the old sounds, but combining them was a good idea new b2 is kinda pointless new b3 = old b3 + old b4. I think I prefer new b3 new b4 = old b5. they're exactly the same new b5 is actually quite good I think new e1 and old e1 should be bonus sounds guess old e2 and new e5 are tied I prefer new e4 over old e3 because of having similar volume and being more full new e2 and new e3 can be combined into one single sound old e4 was very good old e5 is literally just old b4 'n b5 with a bit of delay. It should be bonus-exclusive, not a playable character. new m1 = old m2. I prefer old m2 new m2 = old m1. I prefer new m2 new m3 and old m3 should combine into a bonus-exclusive sound new m4 = old m4. I think they're tied I prefer new m5 over old m5 I prefer old v2 over new v2 I think old v1, new v1 and old v3 are very good I think if old v5, new v3, new v4, new v5 and old v4 should be bonus sounds

Im gonna be super honest here: i liked the scratch version more than the real, the reason is: the sounds, first is the beats, the new beats just feel dead compared to the old, while i think new beat 3 is better than old beat 3 and 4 combined, the rest is just plain dead. Now the effects..good god... this was a downgrade, in the old version you could make a very good use of the effects, while this one. Eh, just effect 1 and 5, while you can mix both effect 2 and 3 to make a good sound but they just sound TERRIBLE alone, and you can barely use effect 4 because it just don't fit. Now the melodies, i'd think new melody 1 felt better than old melody, well i can't say that to new melody 2 and old melody 1 ,it just feels weak, and melody 3.. oh my.. can barely even hear him compared to the old, well i can't say much for melody 4 and 5 cuz they just genuily feel the same, except i think old melody 5 was better. Now onto the voices, to be honest the voices actually felt better in the new, since in the scratch version you could barely make use of the voices, in the new you can make a very good use of them (although voice 5 is plain useless), now my overall opinion: The new sounds are good, but they don't feel as epic as the old one, also the designs, i know they tried to make them look "official" but they just feel basic and simple compared to the scratch version. That was my genuine opinion, thank you
