People that are saying that this brand is bad are very wrong. Artengo has 3 lines: cheap (100), medium (500) and the top (900). The cheap one is "not good", but is very usefull, especially for beginners or people that doesn't know for sure that they will keep playing - and still has a great cost benefit. The 500 is for people that can't afford more and want a good material for a low price. But the top one is amazing, the 900 shorts is only 20 usd and it is WAY BETTER than a 45$ nike shorts (they will match with the 65$ line), the same for t-shirts and tennis materials (balls, hats, wrists bands etc.). Of course that if you buy the 100 line (wich is very cheap) expecting to be great, you ll be disappointed, but that is more because you are stupid - you don't go to a 5$ dinner expecting to be as good as a 5 star restaurant. If you want a great material for the best cost benefit, buy de 900 line, you ll not regret.

I bought the ts500, u pay for what u get, only lasted 1.5months before the tread wore out and a hole in my big toe at the bottom, literally the first time I see a hole in a shoe where my toe can feel the ground

I bought this shoe. I absolutely love it, and ended up switching from the Asics Gel Resolution. Artengo is the best secret in the tennis world. People are fooled by the affordable prices into thinking they're bad quality. I give the shoes, racquets (TR990 Pro), strings (TA990 and TA930), balls (TB930) and clothing my 100% approval. P.S. Coach Andrew looks like a happy kid on Christmas with the shoes! 😅

I've picked up a TR990 Pro last month (quite new to tennis) would you say the difference between the strings 990 and 930 makes a large difference? I don't know much about the smaller bits like strings so i'm curious as to if its noticeable?

@@nothrath Update: the 990 strings give me a bit too much power! I've recently gone back to the 930 for more control so I can swing out more, and it does seem to offer some more topspin.

I just got this show in the mail today. Excited to try on court but walking around my house extremely comfortable. For under $90, really good deal.

Artengo (Decathlon) is constantly improving everything and I feel like these shoes can compete with big brands like Asics, adidas, Mizuno pretty easily. The only thing I don't agree with in this video and other videos talking shoes, is the weight description. Light shoes go under 400 g in size US11/UK10,5. You can't say a 420 g shoe is light - it's not. It's pretty heavy. I have a chart of my shoes I've tested in couple years and I have the same size as Harry. Wilson Kaos Swift - 330 g (crazy light). Wilson Kaos 3.0 Clay - 340 g. Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 4 - 354 g. Asics Solution Speed FF Clay - 362 g. Head Sprint Pro 3.0 Clay - 370 g. Wilson Rush Pro 3.0 Clay - 395 g. These are light and super light shoes. Every other shoe like adidas SoleMatch Bounce Clay, Babolat Propulse Rage Clay, Wilson Rush Pro 2.5 etc. go over 400 g and are pretty heavy. The heaviest shoe I've ever tested is adidas SoleCourt Boost Clay with 465 g, followed by Diadora BluShield 2 Clay with 462 g. These are ultra-heavy shoes. So, in my opinion, you can't talk about a 420 g as a light shoe. It's medium heavy, or heavy compared to other really lightweight shoes I've mentioned before.

hi man, great video. you could o a video on size of the shoes. how long should they be, how should they feet...everyone says, measure your foot and follow the charts....in my case, I hace 26,5 cm on my foot, All the charts says 26,5 cm is 8,5 US....but I dont hace room in the tip. Maybe I dont lace them right? well, it could help doing a video, you all have experience on shoes, and here in argentina sellers have no idea...he cant get any help from them....thanks man!!!!!!

Which one is better, ts960 or ts990?

It's not the same fit and purpose. 960 is roomier particularly in the ankle area (personally I had some heel slippage with the 960) and more solid shoe (more support and durability), the upper is more consistent. 960 is overall a bulky shoe whereas 990 is a lightweight and speedy shoe, more breathable, more flexible, with a snug fit. Depends what you are looking for. Personally I've bought the 990 black edition for clay court and it is doing the job perfectly 👍👍

@@appi3194 6 months playing regularly for the 990 clay court shoe. It is ok but the upper is less supportive now and I had some toe jam issues at the end. Need two pairs of socks to avoid this issue.

One more thing, I usually wear us9.5 (27.5cm) men for babolat,wilson,and nike shoes and decathlon here in ph does not offer 9.5us size, I can only go for 9 or 10 which sounds like a bad idea. Does they run small? Do you need to buy the up size for it? so that they'll fit perfectly and won't feel really snug
