Can't let it be all I've done Can't let it be all in vain Gave up the war to watch it fade Can't let it be all I've done Won't let it be all in vain Gave up the war to watch it fade How do you erase the memories that give us hope? Now bitter and gold, all the lies that we hold Step out of the shadows, step out of the shadows To a life worth living again, to a life worth living No words can ever replace where I've been Can't stand the thought of you going through it alone Those who stand for nothing, fall for everything [2x] How do you erase the memories that give us hope? Now bitter and gold, all the lies that we hold Step out of the shadows, step out of the shadows To a life worth living again, to a life worth living Can't let it be all I've done Can't let it be all in vain Gave up the war to watch it fade Can't let it be all I've done Won't let it be all in vain Gave up the war to watch it fade Can't let it be all I've done Won't let it be all in vain Gave... she looking down on me

I saw Slaves for the first time on December 7th and let me just say how amazing Jonny's voice is. I thought maybe he wouldn't be able to pull it off and he did! just standing there with my eyes closed and letting the music touch my soul and give me chills down my spine. what else could you want? Jonny Craig is an absolute blessing with that voice.

Jonny is awesome, I met him at a small show in Chicago. He sat next to me at the bar and we talked casually for 20, even bought him a drink! Could barely say anything, I couldn't believe it.

I fell in love with Jonny's sound a couple of years ago right after he left Emarosa. My all time favorite song by Jonny is "Diamond" but "The Upgrade", The Lives We Live", Jesus Died For You...Not Me" and "Ground Pound Sex Slave" are amazing as well. Go listen. Just look them up by putting Jonny Craig in the search bar...

Jakob Greeno Really though, How can you possibly tell? He might say, but he's been saying that for years and it's turned out to be bullshit and he's been kicked out for bands for it. I want to see him clean and moving on from addiction too. I'm a massive Jonny fan, but really, how can you tell?

@AnnaBellaBeth939 жыл бұрын
+Taylasueify Jonny has been around for awhile. He used to be in a band called Emarosa then branched out on his own for awhile, and is now with Slaves. Isn't he amazing?! I'm an old lady (57) and I love his music and haunting voice.

+nancy m actually he started in Dance Gavin Dance.. then Emarosa... Etc...
@jesseblake35178 жыл бұрын
actually you are both wrong. His first band Jonny Craig EVER was in was called GHOST RUNNER ON THIRD. But being intelligently wrong works for you then he was in Dance Gavin Dance. Which was years before dance gavin dance. Good try though

I love this band and their music but I have to ask why name your band slaves it honestly stumps me im not trying to be a joker just a guy looking for answers

@passesthroughthefire73878 жыл бұрын
+Garrison Johnson also, look at the tattoo on Jonny's throat. Not sure why he did it, but I always got the vibe he was a torn freedom fighter. I didn't see the writing under it, so I don't know his interpretation (if there is one).
