this video affirmed my own ideas about osteoarthritis. Within the last 6 months, i have developed arthritis in my knee. I theorize that the joint capsule shrinking (joint space narrowing) b/c of tension and tightness in associated muscles and fascia surrounding joint. This creates pressure within the joint capsule that causes inflammation that deteriorates cartilage and bone. Going to try to address fascial health through yoga, tai chi, swimming, stretching, strength training and especially diet and see what happens.

Please talk about this but in the shoulder/neck. I was diagnosed with myofacial pain syndrome in my “rhomboid” I struggle with neck range of motion. I struggle with simple tasks such as vacuuming or chopping vegetables. It’s been 5 years. I’ve done endless treatments, therapy. I do daily exercises and stretches. 🥺 the muscle is so tired and constantly aches

@@Life360Summit I mean the restriction (where you bundle up the facia is in my neck and shoulder. I am curious as to when that area is the main focal point how it effects everything else. It seems you always show the main focal point being the midsection. Mine is upper neck and shoulder area..

Osteo = bone, Arthros = joint, itis = inflammation…. If you watch about halfway through the video we do mention osteoarthritis and explain it 🙏

Arthritis is a general term, derived from the Greek words arthro-, meaning “joint,” and -itis, meaning “inflammation. The etymology of the word arthritis is NOT from Latin.

We will, as RA is most definitely very different, and is a systemic condition. We have work with numerous people with RA, with consistent excellent results that improve their quality of life but RA absolutely needs its own video.
