High Impact Chronic Pain HICP 12 million Americans suffering needlessly. 🇺🇸 We finally have a name, as of about 2015, for the disabling disorder of a routine daily, widespread, chronic pain affliction that restricts it’s sufferers from most gainful employment options and disables them from most of the activities that non-afflicted people take for granted. About the same time they were giving it a name (2015?) the medical community had begun to severely limit the one medication that these 12 million people, almost all of them, said significantly reduced their pain and suffering, improved their sleep, and gave them enough pain relief to engage in healthy physical activities for some part of most days. Why did we cut them off of their meds? Why did we increase their suffering and poor sleep? Because there was a 0.58% risk that an interaction with medicines for anxiety such as co-prescribed benzodiazepines could cause respiratory depression and they could fatally overdose. So instead of a half of one percent risking death we have 90% of them now hoping for it . You can’t make this $h’t up. It really happened. And it still is going on. And now we still have a very low risk of these people dying from legally prescribed opioids, but now we have over 100,000 people dying from illegal opioids every year since 2019. And many suffering from HICP are now at greater risk of suicide because of them being in constant severe pain even though there is a medicine that can relieve much of their suffering. Again, you can’t make this $h’t up. 🇺🇸

I have been teaching this method in my chair yoga classes for years now! I regularly come back to rewatch to give myself a refresher. I think you explain so clearly, yet simply what is going on, which is a gentle reminder to me to not over complicate my teaching with knowledge. H.E.L.P - so easy! My clients always seem surprised they are able to do this without using the chair to push them up! I say "we're going to practice our sit to stand now" and it's smiles all round! I've added to it the importance of lowering back into the chair in a controlled manner rather than crashing down speedily, to help strengthen the thighs. I hope that everything I show my clients helps them with their everyday tasks, not just benefiting them whilst they attend my classes.

This is exactly how I really messed up my back one year. Sitting all day commuting and in lectures in grad school, then doing over the top physical activities in a dance major collegiate ballet class a couple times a week. And I had no idea what myofascial release was at the time and only did stretching. None of my doctors knew about it either and no one knew what was wrong with me and no treatments worked. I couldn’t walk without sharp back pain for about 6 months. Thankfully now I avoid anything like this happening again with fascial release work.

Thank you for the question. There is no way to “improve the iliotibial band”, because it is a structure that does not exist, on you, right now. We hope that makes sense🙏 We are trying to educate people that if anyone tells them it’s their RT band that has no validity. They need to look at the symptoms and look at the bigger picture and look at what’s going on at the feet of the knees and the pelvis.
@RolferShannon
@RolferShannon 6 күн бұрын
The IT band is the largest piece of fascia in the body. How do you improve it. First off never foam roll it. 😂 Balancing on one leg for as long as possible. Qigong exercises that have you bouncing on your front ball of your foot. Having a fascia therapist work on the muscles of the quads, glutes and hamstrings and how they are able to spontaneously function into pullers, holding steady or releasing. She's just trying to say leave the IT band alone because messing with it is not going to do anything for any thing. Most likely the problem that is going on is with muscle (s) that surrounds the hip joint.

So idk if you reply to comments but here's my thought process... First a question is the Hypermobility due to collagen not establishing properly? Or the body not being able to properly establish and maintain them like a degenerative disease. Stretching seems counter intuitive although I've heard a lots of people recommend it. If you're already hyper mobile wouldn't stiffening the ligements and setting joint better logically make sense? (setting the joint I mean just tightening the soft tissue around it instead of further loooesning it) I'd wager if you were going to traun than though it may be counter intuitive to recovery and adaptation to take anti inflammatoriez given the pain associated with this illness it would warrenty reduced benefits, and maybe even something like a topical anagelsic gel to reduce or number the pain. I'd also wagerhan cold therapies would help a lot too, 1 as a anagelsic, 2 to reduce inflammation, 3 to stiffen the connective tissues. I feel like isometrics would be great for this too. I used isometrics to increase my range of motion by going beyond my ROM but my rom was limited. If a person with Hypermobility can train the ROm they should have and not the ROM they have this could teach them proper rom, proper mecahncis, and strengthen the soft connective TISSUES and muscles that have been compensating another thing would be massages. The stretching recommendation I've heard is because the muscle are compensating for the soft tissue, so they tend to shrink a bit due to misuse. I've learned that there's 3 phsycial ways to hit a muscle. Excersise, stretching, and massages-they have they're own sub categories too but those are the 3 main branches besides like rest and diet but I mean active means. In summary to my poorly typed comment... What causes eds? And will my recommendation help anyone in theory logically speaking? I feel like they would, even talking to my PT he seems to know more finer details about it, but honestly as a civilian these all make sense to me.

Oh I'm not done. Would a collagen peptide power help if it contains more than just type 1 and 3 but also 2, maybe even more forms of it. Maybe even a homemade bone broth... Hmmm I know a collagen peptides shot would have a better benefits.

Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in your entire life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?.

If you move at all then toxins will move, that's bio & physics 101. You did not bring proof nor conduct experiments that serve as great evidence to support what you are saying as you'd have to go against thousands of years old medicine to tell me that movement, from targeted massages to endurance training, doesn't remove toxins. What is the point of what you are preaching and supposedly practicing then? You, for some reason, gave an example of Botox, which is irrelevant as we most people don't have that and have, instead, all the poisons the governments spew into our environment. "Area that is doing this" your poor usage of language tells me that you are not from a medical background. Why do you think a body would be in that position? Because it's intoxicated or mal-positioned that allowed the toxins to accumulate in different ways that they were before. The body improvises. You don't seem to have a clear definition, or any definition at all, of what a 'toxin' is. You were stuttering and literally started the video with "I don't know what the sentence is". Case closed.

Hogwosh. The lymphatic system is encompassed by the fascia system of connective tissue. Any constraints/adhesions in the fascia will restrict flow in the lymphatic system. Release fascia and you remove flow restrictions in the lymphatic system, so it is logical that toxins once trapped are released.
@Life360Summit
@Life360Summit Ай бұрын
Once again, please look at Cleveland clinics explanation of the lymphatic system my.clevelandclinic.org/health/body/21199-lymphatic-system and nope you will not find the word toxins. This is some kind of thing that was just slapped on top of the lymphatic system, and therefore on top of fascia therapy. Sorry it is indeed inaccurate. Again towards the end of our talk, we explained exactly how fascia therapy does benefit circulation, both of blood and lymph. But neither means. “ toxins are released.”
@CancerTreatmentOutcomes
@CancerTreatmentOutcomes Ай бұрын
@@Life360Summit why do you refer to the Cleveland Clinic website, where there is just a global explanation of the lymphatic system, and no mention of what can go wrong such as damaged vessels and nodes and constrained. There is no mention of the fascial system, so maybe it doesn't exist (sorry, just trying out your way of thinking)? Much better are recently published research articles, such as www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10058564/ which also contains 43 insightful references to further research and scientific thinking about the relationship between the fascial system and lymphatic system.

Why refer to the Cleveland Clinic website? It only contains a global overview of the lymphatic system, including some of the conditions and problems that can occur, including blockages. And although the word toxin is not used, blockages in any system tend to lead to build ups in waste materials and, yes, toxins. But there is also no mention of the fascial system, so by your logic, maybe the fascial system does not exist? Or fascial therapy has no influence on the lymphatic system? More interesting are recent studies and research such as www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10058564/ with 43 references to other scientific literature that explore the intertwined relationship between fascia and lymphatics.
