The woman who said that her body decides how productive she will be that day is right. I never know.

I also have it. I cut back on sugar and eat healthier and lots of water everyday with easy exercise and I feel less of all the symptoms! I’m 59 and doing much better..

I’m 62 and I have fibromyalgia. I got diagnosed when I was in my 20’s after it got triggered by a car accident. I have lived with the constant crushing pain since then. I AM NOT crazy and it’s not all in my head.

To all the women and few men suffering from fibromyalgia please don’t give up and remain hopeful that you can find ways to understand triggers and flare-up’s to better help manage your symptoms.I have been living with it for about three/four years now. I have lost my career as a nurse due to this debilitating condition. Fortunately I’am blessed to still have both my mom and dad to help me when I cannot get out of bed for week’s on. God bless all of you.

I am 31 and I just have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. With males it's less as common. I have lots of the same issues. How easy my body gets sore, I get very fatigued. Just doing normal activities. I get what I call ,tired headaches. And some days just feel like I am in a fog, and can't think the best. Not everyday is like this, but when I do feel good. It's easy to overdo things to make up for lost time.

It’s expensive to have this condition - that’s a powerful and vert true statement! I feel trapped in a body that doesn’t work and it’s a daily mental struggle that takes a lot of effort just to keep going and not give up. Gentle hugs to everyone dealing with this condition x

The best thing that you can do when you get out of bed in the morning is lay in a very hot tub as hot as you can stand it with a bubble spa mat made by HoMedics and also a Conair massager that would sit on the side of the tub that will blow out water towards the front of your body and is electric and adjustable. Lay in the tub for 25 minutes. I have had fibromyalgia since around 1991. I have been on medication also, this tub bath is the best thing that I have used for years. Please pass this on to everyone. I am 63 years old now and would not be able to go anywhere without this bath. Also make sure you have a vinyl blow up pillow to use for comfort in the bath.

I know how it is. I hurt all the time. My family just don't understand the pain I'm in. My husband has been here for me. The doctors don't seem to help at all. I'm feeling hopeless at times.

I was diagnosed with Fibro for over 25 years. I had the test in the Doctors office with the pressure points etc. Since I went Carnivore and got rid of all the carbs, sugar, frankenfoods, it is gone. No more pain, nor more fatigue, no more brain fog, memory etc. No more Gerd. No more high BP or BS. I sleep so good now I am even off my cpap.

I've been in denial for so many years. I have just finally accepted that i have to live with this for as long as it takes. I'm searching for the best way to live with it.

I made lifestyle adjustments that really helps me so that I don’t flare up so regularly. I started doing yoga daily (on off days really slow and a restorative practice), adopted a Mediterranean diet, started taking proper care of my mental health and go to physio when I need to.

I can’t believe how young you all are, I’m so sorry. I was recently diagnosed at 76 I’ve had it for over 10 years, as we all know it’s very hard to diagnose. My pain was always put down to old back and knee injury that I’d received many years ago, along with sciatica. It’s a horrid illness, and the pain is with you every day. When I think of young people, and kids with this, it makes me very sad. 😔 Take care every one, be kind to your self.💕

This worked in 2 days!!!!!!! (I suffered 7 hellish years.) Magnesium L Threonate (must be that specific magnesium), Benfotiamine (type of B1), Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D3. No Rx needed...all supplements. It helped my sister in law too. Pain levels went from an 8 out of 10 to a level 2 out of 10.

Fibromyalgia is debilitating everyday can be different with your whole body. I have had fibromyalgia basically all my life. The pain started in my early teens and l am 65 now l was diagnosed with it in my 30s, l am so warn out with the pain and fatigue from it. I also have a lot of other debilitating illnesses as well life has always been such a challenge but l am an extremely resilient person and do try fighting it but does wear me down but l always try to do as much as l can in my day. You will never win or beat it. You just have to live with it. And faking being ok is part of it when you really are in so much pain. Fibromyalgia affects everything in your whole body it can be in different areas or the whole of your body it’s exhausting. I have Botox injections for my bladder. And have just found out that my asophagus when it cramps up is the fibromyalgia doing it the pain and cramping from this stays for half a day or more and the it is so sore from the cramping for days after because cramps hang on for so long and try to swallow hurts just tiny swallows and also burns in your throat and the chest pain and cramps these attacks when they happen l am so fatigued after them. These attacks can happen at anytime eating food or not drinking a drink or not it’s fibromyalgia that does this. It’s not my heart even though l do have a defibrillator in because l have an enlarged left atrium it’s not my heart that does this l have been checked for everything you can imagine. On top of all that l have both arthritises a large hiatus hernia looped over it’s self, l also suffer from diverticulitis, fluid retention, Gastric Asophagus reflux, thrombosis, depression, hyperthyroidism, iron deficiency l loose iron, l have lots of blood tests regularly to check everything am on lots of medications have lots of allergies. I really am so over my body. My kidneys also get checked regularly because medication can effect them, I am under specialist all that’s wrong with me. Medical cannabis works but it’s far too expensive.

i’m 20 years old and have been dealing with increasingly worsening symptoms of fibromyalgia since i was 4-5. i was misdiagnosed in my home country and continued to be misdiagnosed in the US until i met with a new PCP who said my x-rays from 5 years ago did not show the other condition. he and my specialist are 90% sure i have fibro, and i’m hoping that this is finally it. a diagnosis is the beginning to make this bearable
