When I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in late 2017 I remember leaving my oncologist's office, feeling destroyed, dismayed, and not knowing how much longer I had in this world. As I left his office I was caught in a rain shower while the sun was shining through the sky as bright as it would be on a hot summer day. I got in my car and paused for a few minutes while I watched the sun, clouds, and this marvelous rain shower all mixing in the sky above. I always remember that day and it reminds me what a gift it is to see God's hand at work in this world. I started the car and a moment later CCR's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" started playing on my playlist just as the rain tapered off. Dibesh (Arthur), thank you for your gift of music. In the words of Bob Marley, "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain." Thank you again for sharing your talent with us.

Gonna get personal here, but this is a song that played at both my grandpa and my dad’s funerals, a year apart from each other. arthur... i'm a kansas native my whole life. had idol on while working around the house. as your audition began i could hear the heart and humility in your voice and stopped to watch. wow... brought me to tears... good tears. putting ourselves 'out there' and on display can be tough. and then to also open ourselves up to critique/criticism (especially being vulnerable with the passion of our hearts) can be overwhelming and paralyzing. it prevents most from ever fully pursuing the true passion in their heart. kudos to your man... for taking that risk... for taking that chance... and for sharing your gift. you are truly blessed with so much talent and ability. your musical gifting is 'pretty good' and will no doubt serve you well. but arthur your gifting, strength, and quiet courage to chase after and purse the passion in your heart... well those areas of gifting/blessing in your life are inspiring and encouraging. i believe there were people watching that night who needed to see you and hear you sharing your journey thus far. in an america that can seem so segmented by opposing views and opinions hearing you describe your path to 'winding up in wichita ks'... wow! your america is the one i'm proud to be a part of. i'm just a kansas kid... and watching you step from a backyard stage in wichita to a big stage in front of the world was inspiring! Thanks Arthur for your music and singing. I live in Austria, and sending a week at the city Linz so everyday I was listening your videos and your arrangements. I am 63, and as you can imagine, I was grown with all that music, Rod Steaward and many more. What you sing is the music that people like me has been listening at the young age. I like also country, like folk music, so like "Jim Croce". Like Lionel Richie told you have your label and the versions you make are incredible. I practice also Buddhism and I guess that spirtual part of you from you where born in Nepal, I see an incerdible feeling. So thanks and one day i would like you to come to Linz or Vienna great cites for concerts. Rock has moved me all my young age so I am feeling to live and feel once more with your music. I thing also that not so much singers like to sing real Rock because it was the goden age of music from my point of view. Thanks and regards, I see as winner and the most important is not only winning American Idol, The key is make your music to last for generations, and you will reach it. My father was a child of this era.. he served in Vietnam and was a huge CCR fan so I grew up with their music and loving it. You by far did the best cover I’ve ever heard. You have a truly unique talent and you will definitely go big places if you stick with it. American idol made a mistake not choosing you.
