Great stuff, as a new player, I'm hoping you can do an episode dedicated to teaching proper placement and movement of units, especially in a limited format. While I feeling like I'm getting the grasp in building decks, the proper placement and movements of units is giving me an incredibly difficult time.

As a Battlemage player I think Shatter Strike should be higher on the list. 4 mana cost is bit steep but I get to trike the opponent and can strip their ramp/Angel's Egg/Ring of Morrigan. That is a lot of value for 4 mana and a card considering that ring or egg would make the game last much longer. Even if they somehow are not playing any artifacts it still gives me a one-sided strike that cannot be defended with blockers. This worst case scenario is obviously below the curve for 4 mana but it is not nothing.

Yeah that makes total sense. 4 mana is a bit step but if you get a 2 for one and a strike seems very good. These are first impressions so i don't doubt we got some of these wrong

Wouldn't the great famine kill itself in enchantress if it got animated? Or how do the Triggers work?

Yep it is sees its self. if its the only minion it would die/dispel

How do you feel about the land destruction in limited play?

not to great since there are only 12 sites in your atlas, If you destroy someone's only Air site the the likelihood of them finding another is pretty high. its pretty good in constructed because people are very greedy with threshold counts.

Monstrous Lion and Blaze or Mad Dash is actually kinda scary. Especially blaze. It WILL see your Enemy's avatar and it WILL smash face. LOL

Lion feels pretty good, I've play against it a few times. I tend to play agro avatars so getting punched for 4 really hurts.

Calling it now. If these control decks using rings and auras start to define the meta, next set will have an avatar with a “Tap -> disenchant X” effect. Lol I can see people considering running 2x disenchants to deal with all these auras (famine, plague, mariner’s curse) and rings. Running the Just a Rock is a feel bad with a 1:1 trade, but maybe that will need to be more common, but it doesn’t do anything for the tempo dominate auras

If the auras start to take off for sure. I'm actually coming around on just a rock, the ring is such a problem banishing it is a pretty good up side

Even if they kill Morgana, since her cards go to your cemetery she just turbo charges your shot
