My Sheeva encountered same issue. I am so pissed of and sold it to a friend who did modification to make her solid. Well... it is what it is. I just feel like Storm Collectibles quality deteriorating after Cyborg Smoke. It is the best of their figure yet, followed closely by Yujiro Hanma, Doomsday, Lobo, Darkseid and Ares. Others? Not so much.

Kano, Shao Kahn, Juri, Balrog? I agree a few releases are a big miss but most of them are solid. I even liked Sheeva despite the loosenes in the legs.

@@tacituscornwall918 Storm Collectibles is notorious for female's figure face sculpt. Juri is no exception. It is alright, but not what should have existed in their price range. Kano and Shao Khan have several nitpick that prevent them from being perfect. They make sacrifices here and there to make balance between sculpt, articulations and play value. Something that they wouldn't have done in Yujiro Hanma, Doomsday, Lobo, Darkseid and Ares. I really miss Storm Collectibles unique way to create Cyborg Smoke. They go beyond simply to make a perfect figure. There are many many small improvements in Cyborg Smoke that give you "aha!" moment when handling him. Nice combination of soft and hard material in the chest opening gimmick? Subtle silver wash? Layer and layer of different plastic material in body? Extra paint wash in body? Even back up dread lock! It is a shame Storm Collectibles not give Sektor the same ammount of love. The red cyborg suffers indignity...

I don't have Cyber Smoke but I have Cyrax, I like it because it's a bit different than others. It feels like when you get a character that is a bit non SC standard you'd always like them 😂

I’ve only been collecting 2/3 years but storm is my fav company easy! Yeah they not as articulated as some others in some ways but they are better in others so it’s swings and roundabouts. Overall though they are an awesome company and I love their style, I’ve got about 17 of their figures from all sorts of lines. I’ve had no issue with my sheeva’s legs tbh, my Kintaro leg pops off if I move it a certain way but it goes right back with looseness. Same with one of my kengan guys legs but other then that no issues with any of my others and most are fantastic with no real disappointments in any I bought. Balrog is considered amazing by a lot of people are he’s pretty barebones and not the best mover but is pretty perfect

My copy didnt have any of these issues. To date this might be the best figure in the MK line Storm has released. I think thet initial wave of then had issues and they corrected them. Im glad i waited. It was 95+ degrees when it was delivered and her joints were dtill tight. And wjo didnt want Sheeva. She has been a fan favorite since we first saw her in Mortal Kombat 3

I’m glad they made, Sheeva. Only thing I don’t like is her sizing. To herself, she is proportion. But for her scaling versus the other MK figures, she is way too big. She isn’t taller and bigger than Shao Khan for starters. She is on scale with Goro and Kintaro and she isn’t nowhere near that big in the game. I’ve got mine on preorder. So I’m looking forward to when she arrives, but I will keep her away Goro I own. Hopefully that QC issue is only with yours.

That's unfortunate. I like their human and cyborg Smoke's and Sheeva being a thick warrior chick had me considering grabbing her. The human Smoke does have one arm that can pop off but it goes right back on, and the cyborg Smoke is fantastic. I wish they'd get around to making the UMK3 human Smoke, since he'd just be an easy reuse, but I get people want more characters that haven't been made yet.

Totally justified opinion. $100 USD is about $165 over here; add on an additional $35 USD for postage (that's $65) and you're spending $225, then add on another 15% for the GST (Goods and Services Tax) and you're looking at a $260 figure. If I spent 260 GODDAMN DOLLARS on a premium imported figure and the legs were that wonky I'd be PISSED AS FUCK. Thank you Ninja! That one was on my list and now I know not to bother. Quality consumer advice!

Sheeva is definitely my first choice. I'm glad they made her. Sheeva & Kitana are my favorites. This might be my 1st Storm Collectibles figure. I already have the McFarlane Kitana & that's good enough. I don't care about loose joints. They usually get looser with time anyway. I can always tighten them up. BREAKAGE is the thing I worry about.

Justified opinion. For a figure that is $100 plus, you shouldn't need to fix the loose ass leg joints yourself like this figure is a model kit. But totally appreciate for this upload being on my birthday by the way!

MK 3 and MK 9 Sheeva are like Dayam! Figure reminds men of the Maquette they used to film her moves with for the game. The Arm joints seem pretty solid since you got her holding up other figures so it can't be all bad.

Strange opinion. I was stoked to get Sheeva. The others female figures are just copies of each other. I think another company can produce the more individualized designs of the other MK females, but I'm sure Storm was the perfect company to make a Sheeva. Sheeva is unique in the MK world. I have one and the legs are perfect, not loose. I'm digging this figure! AND she's got camel toe...I'm surprised other reviewers haven't commented on that yet

Oh wanted to ask in my first comment but forgot. Did you try tightening up the legs yet? Obviously for 100 you shouldn't have to, but I'm hoping doing that lets you enjoy the figure a lot more. If you do happen to get them fixed up will you give her a proper review or would you feel it wasn't a proper one because that's not how it arrived?

My Sheeva has pretty stiff legs, i only have 3 minor problems and they are, the belt cloth setup, the middle stomach shape, and the size. sheeva is tall, but not this tall!

My s.c m.bison came with a ton of loose joints and his inner chest piece broke rite away i had to super glue him, and use blue sticky tack for some of his looseness. Storm is hit or miss.

Mine was great and one of my favorite figs that I picked up in 2023. No loose joints. And I see a lot of people loving this fig. Unfortunately, looks like you got a dud. Anyway, I love that we got this fig. I would love to see other female figs but I don't think that's on storm collectibles, I think that's on Warner Bros. There are rumors that Storm lost the MK license and it looks like McFarlane isn't doing MK anymore either. Probably too difficult to get approvals or OKs on certain figs. Even the McFarlane MK line started of ok, but he only put out 1 female and the line turned into a DC / Spawn extension, then stopped. Jada Toys would be a good place for MK but with how few figs they put out per year, it'd take forever to put together any meaningful collection. Look at SF, 3 Figs in 2023. Ken on pre-order, and a bunch previewed with zero release dates or pre-orders as of yet. Ugh. Jada would need to ramp up their game for sure.

This has to be one of the most over the top reviews I’ve seen, it’s up there with a lot of Antony customs reviews. No other reviews on KZbin had this issue and I’ve no issues with my sheeva either, QC issues are a part of anything and I mean ANYTHING that’s produced at a factory level. Nothing from a factory is always 100% perfect that’s why there’s something like a 10% margin of faulty items factories give. You was just unlucky or you did something to it (not saying you did) for both legs to be like it, none the less that shouldn’t impact your view of the figure and create this negative bubble that’s not needed. I’ve got a few storm figures who’s legs fall off but once you plug them back in they hold perfectly fine

(Check the comments) So no this was not a one off thing I also stated in my video I understand qc happens and the figure is still beautiful multiple times. Anyone that has a bad experience should be allowed to speak on it without it being considered "over the top" especially when they don't bash the company and the support the company. Yes qc issues are I'm everything but this isn't an everything channel it's a figure channel and this figure was over $100 not $25 .I'm not sure why speaking on one bad experience would bother anyone but hey crazy times we live in. Your response was pretty standard employee response though if you do work for the company relay the word that I love what you guys are doing overall.

Damn. I was hoping it was going to be something horrible or that she was really small compared to goro/kintaro. Was hoping to find a reason to justify holding off until the price drops on this one. But she's HUGE. And for me, sadly, some loose legs isn't enough to discourage my preorder. It may just be an issue with yours or some random few cause DAmazing got it a couple months ago and he didn't seem to have any issues with his. Check out his review and there's 2 or 3 others out there that didn't have issues with her either. Maybe send yours back if its that much of an issue.
