There will always a be a part of the player base that hates the best decks. Personally I am perfectly fine with this meta. Maliss is very good but there are a lot of cards to outright counter it.

I can imagine that Konami gives Ryzeal and Maliss some extra support cards so quickly to make them stronger again, so they can point their fingers on these two and avoid hitting Blue-Eyes at all as its a fan favorite deck. Blue-Eyes is supposed to be strong but they may wanna avoid it to be the very best deck for too long

spirit dragon can only special summon on light dragon defense position, the new ancient fairy dragon is there because it can attack in defense position

Man it is unfortunate that these decks started out somewhat manageable only to get out of hand fairly quickly Maliss hard lost to Lancea and Nibiru, Duodrive being Raizeol's chokepoint hurt a lot, they were still the best decks but there were clear counters to beat them The moment you get rid of the Achilles heel they become pretty boring and at times toxic

U should really check out Ryu-ge post Allin. Now it is a legit deck with really string lines. Having an in-archetype crossout that does more thing feels kinda good tbh. Now even field spell is a 1 card starter.

the nostalgia factor fell off. The deck was never really that good for 2024/2025 standards, and despite how good the link 1 is you are still playing with a maindeck with card quality from like 2020 when Girsu was released.

If BE summon Crimson Dragon, it will be wreck by Nibiru before it can do anything. That is the reason why most player ends with that build

Best way to play Primite/BEWD is just a grind heavy game really capitalizing on how strong Seals and Drill Beams are, but you won't stop people from salivating over their 5 minute combos.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm happy to see a cyberse deck performing well (yes I'm a cyberse enjoyer). I'm also kinda disappointed by Live Twin's performance. I 100% expected them to be a top tier deck. But it is what it is.

I think that Live Twins aren't doing so well in OCG because Maxx C is still alive for them, and Fiendsmith is hit too.
