that's awesome! part of the reason why I try to only post obscure covers is to bring to light underrepresented bands. as far as low subs...well. I guess one shot, one take covers aren't flashy enough. all good though!

The thing I love about infrared horizon is how you blend the disonnance similar to deathspell and ulcerate, with these beautiful melodic parts, like the one near the end of this song, and particularly the intro of vacant explorer. The contrast creates this amazing tension-release feel that few other bands accomplish. Please don't lose this!

Dude, your awesome! After listening through Labyrinth Constellation and the few teaser songs off this album I went out and bought the LTD F-10 with a shitty little amp to learn guitar. Couldn't be more excited and I think I already have around 13-14 hours practice in 5 days. I was just wondering how long you've been playing for and any tips or advice you have on learning. My big problem is my fingers keep muting other chords and I can never find the right string with my strumming hand unless I look down at it. Thanks man!

Wow, thank you so much! So happy to hear that you've taken up guitar. It's a long and bumpy road, but well worth the 10,000 hours of blistered fingertips. I went through years of bad technique before figuring things out properly, so I recommend getting a teacher, at least for the fundamentals of guitar playing. If that's not an option, then the internet is your best friend. I started playing guitar before youtube, but I would scour the internet for websites that had lessons on basic guitar techniques and worked my way up from there. Nowadays, I'm sure there are dozens of great youtube channels devoted to basic guitar lessons. I think Troy Grady is someone who you should check out. Also, I learned how to read tabs right away and started learning all my favorite songs (or tried to, and failed miserably) So, lessons on technique + tabs + many years = me now. The specific problems you mentioned will go away with more time and experience, as you'll become aware of how to fine tune your playing. Also, always challenge yourself, and target your weak spots. If you're having difficulty learning a lick or riff, find out which exact part trips you up and focus on that. Feel free to reach out with more questions! Best of luck on your new musical journey!
