This video is 3 years ago, and she's right, now we supposed to have holographic med beds arriving this year around the world that scans and heals us. I really hope this is the future. ❤️

I'm generally pretty concerned about the dangers of AI. However, this is the application of AI that I'm looking forward to so much! :)

AI can genuinely revolutionize medical diagnosis! Using several AI agents, platforms like SmythOS open the door for more precise and effective diagnoses. The field of healthcare has a very bright future!

There are a lot of hesitancy and concerns out there around AI, and for good reason. There are some tasks that just need to be performed by a human. But Dr. Jundu has illustrated a circumstance in which AI can clearly make a positive difference in identifying diseases much earlier. I think there should definitely be further research and exploration into this technology because there is so much potential for good. I also think there are some potential negative consequences that should be carefully avoided. For example, medical imaging is extremely expensive. There are some huge financial implications for doing a bunch of imaging tests on seemingly healthy individuals. Making these imaging procedures a common screening practice on everyone could exponentially drive up the cost of care with relatively low benefit. If the imaging procedure uses radiation, like CT or x-ray, you add unnecessary radiation exposure on top of the high cost. Until medical imaging becomes far less expensive with far fewer potential side effects, I’m not sure this type of predictive care will be practical. I also wonder how much this advanced knowledge will help people. In the example Dr. Jundu gave of rheumatoid arthritis, I’m not sure the advanced warning would have done that much to change behaviors or slow the disease. Many people likely wouldn’t have done much besides worry about it more. And if developing arthritis is as common as Dr. Jundu says, then shouldn’t we all be doing what we can to postpone its onset even without early diagnosis? Clearly, catching cancer earlier would be beneficial because it can be treated before it causes damage. That’s why we do mammograms and colonoscopies. But if we’re just predicting an unavoidable chronic condition, maybe it would be better to live in blissful ignorance for another couple years and save the extra cash you would have spent on those expensive screening tests. Just because we can predict something earlier doesn’t necessarily mean we should. And adding imaging procedures that drive up our patients’ medical bills with little benefit is unethical.

Unfortunately this goes against the latest research in preventative scanning, in other words searching out disease with no sign or symptoms. Unfortunately everybody has multiple diseases issues as they age the question is- which ones should you treat. There is no point in treating disease if it is only going to cause a problem when your 110years and already dead. Often going searching for disease and treating will cause permanent damage for something that will otherwise only cause symptoms or death way after you are already dead. Of cause certain diseases like skin cancers are different.

Would be beneficial to just get healthy people. 3 years of normal patient data to get a more precise reading on changes. where would that data come from, well I'm not sure. Just as important as finding out who is sick it's important to find out who is healthy. Edit: wow I just realized you might be able to determine the rate of lets say tumor growth not just if they sick or healthy.

Senescent cells are thought to be the cause of osteoarthritis and other age-related diseases. We will have senescent cell clearance therapies by 2025. Machine learning is getting better and faster so prediction will get to 100%.
