Your train does actually accelerate slower if the front wagon isn't a locomotive, as the air resistance value of the locomotive (0.0075) is lower than the values for cargo/fluid wagons (0.01), and artillery wagons (0.015)

@tjalve12 жыл бұрын
For plays with continue attacks (often modded for example with Rampant), I usually decouple the Wall networks from the main network by 1 gap. Each of them are fed by circuit controlled chests, with an inserter breaching the gap and feeding the wall networks from the main network, including replenishing the networks with bots. This makes the wall networks able to repair very quickly with small distances to cover for the bots. In extreme scenarios, there are also buffer chests spaced out in the wall design to make sure distances are minimal (and replacement parts are available).
@canebro12 жыл бұрын
@@mythologistthe92nd Haha, yes. A buffer is a mix of requestor and provider. Wall repair is one of the main use cases. The other is in your mall, for items that are both outputs and inputs, such as yellow belts. Use a wire to limit the inserter to say 1k belts, and then set the logistic request on the chest to 2k belts. This way when you start upgrading all the "old" belts will go to the buffer and be used before the machine makes more.

In the distance could be seen an Alien complex exhaling a gloomy smoke. It had been there for a while now, with its origin seemingly seeded from outer space. A native with its sore eyes gazed into the looming smoke of that indescribable place, slowly having all of its emotion replaced with hatred. Suddenly it noticed a unfamiliar glare. This from a large and long metalloid object traversing and throwing a somewhat lowly pitched roar towards the surroundings, but despite this making its presence well known, and at last also stating its intention very clearly: To annihilate. A hydraulic sound could be heard as the long metallic pipe from one of the wagons pointed out like the nose of a beast peeking out towards the abyss, to then in a moment thereafter, as a commitment of non sentimentality itself, with a bitter and loud noise, shoot a piece of death from itself for the erratic abyss to receive, as a gift from its maker. As the purpose of the gift is the purpose behind its makers motivation. Revenge
