Coils springs are a thing of the past now, silicone spacers don’t require constant re-adjustment
@MyTechFun9 ай бұрын
I agree, if they trust that auto leveling sensor, no need for springs any more.

To make the removal of cables that are held down with hot glue easier just add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol to the connector and the glue will release.

Thank you for this advice, I am sure I will have this problem in the future, it will be very helpfull :-)

i came here for the same advice. :D ironically, the first time i had to use this trick was when replacing the faulty mainboard of my Artillery Genius back then. They really love their hot glue guns

Seems we are at a point where users buy machines to either tinker with or to print with. I have an Ender 3V2 that I have enjoyed using and modifying, but I am considering a Bambu Labs machine because now I just want to print something. After watching this video, I wouldn't buy an Artillery machine on a bet. Always enjoy your videos. Your filament evaluation videos in particular let us know with hard numbers whether a filament is worth anything or not. Much better than somebody's subjective opinion.

Thanks for testing these type of printers. Good to see real life setup and troubleshooting 🖨

Thank you for the feedback, I was thinking if I want to accept these kind of reviews, but good to get these feedbacks, I know it is not useless.

Hello, I bought this printer in December, unfortunately there are problems with it, maybe you could somehow help me locate the fault. The printer loses layers, faster for larger prints and after about an hour for smaller prints. I tried changing the temperatures (200-230C for PLA), changing the printing speed, changing the cooling speed, I cleaned the extruder, replaced the nozzle and the PTFE tube. nevertheless, during printing, from time to time the filament stops flowing freely and the printer will not print 1-2 layers, then it returns to work as if nothing had happened. As the print progresses, it loses layers faster and faster. sometimes it gets completely clogged and stops feeding the filament. The extruder mechanism cannot push the filament and a groove is created in the filament from the gears, and a bead is formed at the end of the filament. This is my first printer and I don't really know what to do with it to get the prints to 100%. At first I thought that the nozzle was clogged due to the convex bed. during manual leveling, points 1-4 were set to a sheet of paper, and point 5 (middle) was a few layers too high, which resulted in the nozzle clogging and the printer not feeding the filament. The manufacturer sent a new bed, now I have a perfect surface, but the layers are getting lost. Could the spring pressure in the extruder be too weak/too strong? Should I look for blame elsewhere? I am asking for help, I am losing patience with this equipment, if you can think of any solution, I would be grateful if you let me know ;) , best regards

Very simple to use. Printed Asa today without any problem😊😊

I own the Sidewinder X2 and at the time it was a great large size printer but it had some serious quality issues which took me weeks to fix. A friend of mine got the Genius Pro (also from Artillery) and had even more issues and this was her first printer so it was not a very positive experience. In the end, once dialled in, these could print really well however. But, since I'm still part of the Facebook group, I saw loads of negative posts appearing from the X3 & X4 series and it seems the quality control has only gotten worse. Loads of people have issues with very basic things. It feels like Artillery rushed these to the market because of Bambu Lab releasing budget bed slingers. It's a shame because these printers could be nice little printers if they spent a little more time on quality control.

don´t you had the problem wwith the nozzle hiting the cleaning box?? I'm searching for a solution

How do we get the hot end apart? How do we replace the nozzle? I can’t find anything on KZbin about that.

Finally right set of instructions. Many thanks for sharing. I was so frustrated with mine that I was ready to send it back. Also their support never replied to my open ticket. So much time and filament wasted. Shame on Artillery.

Oh boy. That is the problem with the budget machines. They are designed for new users, but frustrated them of printing before they get their first print.

Én nem fizettem érte (de a nyomtatóért sem), csak az áfát meg a vámot. Szerintem, ha garanciális a gép, akkor ingyen kellene, hogy küldjék.

I’ve had nothing but problems with my x3 pro. Asked to return but Artillery says to contact support. I’m not new to 3D printing. I would suggest to stay away from anything Artillery produces.

A custom nozzle. Absolutely no thanks, that’s a deal breaker. Do they not realize how quickly a nozzle can wear out or get permanently plugged
@Artillery3D9 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you very much for your feedback. Regarding the nozzle, SW-X3 uses a 0.4mm volcanic nozzle, or you can use the hardened steel nozzle like on the X2 machine.
@Smokinjoewhite9 ай бұрын
I will never buy a printer with ribbon cables, ever. I also won't buy printers with non standardised nozzles. Why they insist on using slightly different nozzles and not just using a volcano is beyond me.
@GreenAppelPie9 ай бұрын
300mm/s 1000mm/s it is such a pointless specification when you’re gonna print anywhere between 30 and 60mm a second for a decent print on the walls
@Kossmok9 ай бұрын
You have never had a Klipper machine if you print 60mm/s max
@dekurvajo9 ай бұрын
Those who decided to use custom nozzle, probably will be fired. With a standard nozzle this would beat the Ender 3 in no time

This machine is big NO NO NO... No thermal protection = burned house. Even the cheapest ender 3 variat has thermal protection today... thermal protection is FREE on both marlin and klipper based machines. They just need to uncomment some lines in marlin config or add some lines in klipper. Pointless, mental and stupid in every aspect. This is a 8+ years old machine in 2024 with ancient firmware + touch pad...
@MyTechFun9 ай бұрын
I believe it will be added in FW update, but yes, very big question, why is it not added already. Their previous machines had this enabled, I tested it at that time..
