Thanks a lot, I have been traveling recently with family and didn't get to film much, but hoping to get new videos out soon!

Excellent reviews, excellent videos!!! Keep making them. Do more book reviews, as well. That would be great. Thanks for making these. New sub!

Wonderful! Thanks a lot! That means a great deal! I tend to be pretty self critical, so seeing other people enjoy the videos gives me more motivation to make more videos!

Beautifully paired board and pieces. The wood looks very different in this videos lighting as opposed to last videos outdoor natural lighting. In terms of loose weights I was told one reason might be sloppiness. When inserting the weight and glue if you quickly smear it and move to next piece there can be air bubbles/gaps below surface. When the pieces glue settles the weights are not as tightly secured as should be. The weights are then able to move around within the cavity causing the rattling.

Interesting observation! I wonder if whoever is gluing these weights in has to do a very large of them per day, maybe the degree of error is there just naturally.

I am a lover of chess and the beauty of pieces, and when I saw your videos on KZbin, I loved them and I liked your presentation. So I want to buy this kind of patch and parts, but I am far from North Africa, the country of Algeria, how can I get it...and thanks in advance
@AlSuChess3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for commenting! A lot of the chess distributors are located either within United States, some in Canada and seem to aim towards distribution mainly within the continent. With that being said, I wouldn't know about Algeria but I would assume somehow, if these same chess distributors are contacted, for a certain fee they shouldn't have a problem sending the chess sets and boards to other parts of the world. I would contact the distributors first and ask them directly. Hope you find something you are looking for! Thanks for watching!

Modena chess set gives me greek nuts vibes. Both sets are absolutely gorgeous to look at, but I would be concern how much visual "noise" their decor elements would add when actually playing them.
@AlSuChess3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for watching! I haven't had anyone refer to it as visual noise but you are right, especially the knight being so overly detailed. I like more modest knights personally, some people like the look of luxury, for serious daily play maybe having a second set it good too!
