I like the design so far. I need to build a much smaller version, but was looking for ideas. I just wanted to comment on the electrical setup. At about 4:20 you can see some of the unsheathed wiring sticking out of the box. You really do not want to do that, even inside of the table where you would think nothing is going to bother it. Something will eventually. At about 5:56 where you added your metal j-box you can see that you have two pieces of cable going into the bo in the same hole. The clips are not designed for this. You should make every effort to utilize the fourth hole on the bottom instead. Yes this will take a few extra feet of cable, but better to be safe. Also I can see the four cables entering and then the four ground wires, but I do nt see a pigtail from the box itself. You need to ggroung anything metal that is connected to the system. Most modern boexes have a threaded hole, most of them raised, so you can attach a pigtail and not have the screw interfere with mounting the box. Other than those minor items I really liked the video. As a matter of fact, the idea I am taking away from this is the male outlet connecter. Thanks for sharing. Now on to part three.

Thank you for the tips. You must be an electrician. Good thing I wasn’t wiring a house. Sounds like I would have violated a lot of codes. I will definitely incorporate these into future projects. Safety first!

Nice build. Some suggestions: Flex hose in dust collection quickly reduces the CFM efficiency of your system. I'd think about replacing it wherever possible with 4" pvc . Remember to use sweep 90 bends. The regulator/oiler may work with your tools, but many newer pneumatic tools are non-oiling. Finally, when using Teflon tape, be sure to start it at least 1/8" from the thread end. This will allow it to seat better and prevent bits of tape from being blown into your system fixtures and tools.

A[[ the cables should be ii the box because they are striped and its dangerous to short those cables or getting electrocution your selfe and insted using round light ffixture box you should use 4 inch shallow box for splicing wires otherwise awesome build

IMHO, I think the vacuum line should go under the floor of the table, make frame out of 2X6 & run a 2 x 6 tunnel all the way across the frame, to hold the pvc. The pvc needs to be removable, it will wear out over time, metal is much better.

The pvc does slide out, but you are right, metal is definitely better, and doesn't need to be grounded

No. These are like cabinet bases on wheels. Much easier to build in my opinion.
