Love DIO, saw him around town and knew his bassist Jimmy Bain, who lived in the apartment right next to my girlfriend in Hollywood. I remember one party around '91, I think there were 100 people crammed into his tiny apartment, like 300 more around the pool. The whole freakin apartment building were out partying and singing along to metal at like 2am in the morning. Some great freakin' memories. R.I.P. DIO - you were a GREAT talent and will be missed forever!!!!!

When i heard Ronnie James Dio had stomach cancer, i couldn't believe he got stomach cancer. I seen what stomach cancer does to a person and their family. My grandfather had it and with the love and support of his family, he got through it and living alight till this very day. Dio is winning the battle against this medical monster. Get well soon, Mr. Dio. Heavy Metal needs you.

Ronnie James Dio (10/6 1942- 16/5 2010) R.I.P. Gastric cancer usually develop in other part of the stomach and often spread throughout the stomach to other organs. Very hard to fight when discovered/diagnosed late.
