Holy cow... that dog-ear P90 pick sounds unbelievable. Martin Barre used a dog-ear P90 to record Jethro Tull Aqualung. The Artist P90 sounds massive.

Another great review Bob, on another great Artist guitar. Bang for buck, they cannot be beat-even by Harley Benton if you’re in Australia. I’ve got 7 Artist Guitars and 2 HBs. I think the main point id like to make is that cheap guitars are soooooooo bloody good these days. My first guitar in 1989 was the equivalent of around $1300 in today’s money and anything less was absolute crap. Thanks HB and Artist Guitars!

A great review by Bob. I would love for Bob to review another Artist Signature guitar called the SOLARIS GREY FLAME. I recently picked one up and love it so far. Would be good if an accomplished artist such as Bob Spenser could review it. Keep the reviews coming Artist.

Nice. I have the HB version I bought over a year ago. I have an Artist AP54J which I love the sound of (in spite of the bolt on neck - doesn't bother me). I think the Artist 54J as a more 'hard rock' sound than the HB DCJr with Roswell alnico pickup.

Great review Bob. I can't believe the value for money on this one and the 54J with a P90 as well. I've got both (plus 5 other Artist electrics and 1 acoustic). 😂

It shouldn't be hard to pull a decent sound. The tough bits are phrasing, timing, note choice and silence!

Eco rosewood ??? Is that plastic ? Synthetic bone ? Is that plastic .? But they do sound good . And just how do they sell these for the price . Makes me realise how much the big manufacturers are gouging . Gibson lp junior reissue $6000. ha ha . Chinese budget copy $400. Most electric tone is in the pickup.
