Awesome review mate. I'm a bass player needing a 6 string. You've helped me pull the trigger on buying this. I wanted semi hollow to play unplugged at home & this thing looks the goods. Like you say I've got no idea how they do it unless ALL other brands are cashing in on the punter due to headstock decal snobbery!

Hey mate good review. I got one of these a couple of months ago. Couldn't be happier, I haven't changed a thing bar lowering the action a tad. Amazing value. Awesome tone, being able to split the stacked P90s is a bonus. I've probably got about 10 artist guitars, and this is up with the best of them. Currently awaiting a preorder for a sea foam green tele with single coils. Oh, the anticipation...

Thanks for this review - been waiting for one as this guitar looks mint in sunburst. Artist say in their website that they are so cheap because they sell direct from their own factory cutting out middle men. Don’t own one yet but so keen!

Hey bud. I just wanted to drop a comment to say thank you so much for your honest review (it was actually super in depth in a good way!). I've been umm'ing and ahh'ing on purchasing this guitar for ages but couldn't find a review by an owner anywhere. I've just not found a p90 loaded Thinline anywhere else on the market except from Artist. I'm looking forward to modifying this guitar and learning more about guitars through the process :) Thank you so much for your review !!!!!! Keep working on the videos 👏

I bought the same guitar ,awesome tone, I'm swapping out the saddles and tuners ,I like bieng able to split the Coils, I own 5 Artist guitars myself ,all but one are great with a few small upgrades. Good review mate .❤

'Budget' only really refers to how much money you have allowed or provided a particular amount of money in your budget. Your budget might be $2k or might be $400. Basically, Artist are inexpensive alternatives to the big headstock brand names. :)
