I'm starting all over again, I moved to an acting school in Hollywood after my PAHS, got gigs here and there and networked and got to be apart of film festivals...even in SAG..my depression isn't that but it's more of my own mental health and bad behaviors in real life. Now I'm starting over in a new state, going to school for my associates degree, working on theater, etc..im starting to get my life back together although it sounds depressing, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease..slow and steady wins the race.

My self control is pretty strong: I’ve never drunk alcohol, I have never smoked and I have never done dr*g since I was born (December 18, 1993). I always do what I learned from Carrie Fisher “Take Your Broken Heart, Make It Into Art”. It always helps me when I go through hard times.

Carrie Fisher did so much drugs she died trying to balance out her coke with heroin.

Thanks for sharing this information! I had no idea so many actors couldn't afford health insurance. 14% is a small percentage of those who can afford health insurance. Health care is what a lot of the western world such as Canada takes for granted.

This is a real eye opener I didn't know about this till today yes it should be talked about and supported property all who follow into this industry should be aware of it and what's going he's right no one talks about it I've never heard anything about this till today. Remember being rejected for a role is all part of being in the industry lots of people don't take rejection well some don't know how to handle that so getting support helps out someone can say something very ugly to you to insult or break your spirit and alot of times that happens. Try not to let what people say in this industry get to you because there is jealousy envy & hate that's very real in this industry & sometimes people say things to bring you down it's like someone builds up your confidence then suddenly want to break your confidence for whatever that reason may be. My advise is to believe in yourself your confidence your determination to make it in this industry you don't need to make 20 million a movie just make enough to live comfortably and financially stable that's all you need to make it also a good agent, agency or manager who believes in you is important to help you make strides in this industry.

I was on a jelly roll in 2019 with a few feature film credits and was hoping to build on that but comes along 2020. Then a double strike after that. I feel like I'm wasting my GD time auditioning for these commercials because they won't cast an ethically ambiguous actor in my belief. A role I auditioned for on Bass Reeves went to a stuntman! Any trained actor could do the role but they give it to a buddy instead. So yeah there's a lot of shit to be depressed about these days in the industry but I persevere, I guess. Thanks for discussing. 😆
