When people refer to Gardaí as pigs, I think what they may be alluding to is the behaviour of certain Gardaí. After all, a person does not have to be a Guard to be called a pig, they simply need to be a very unpleasant or obnoxious person. As for evictions, it is important for the government to understand that it was their interference in private sector markets that caused the problems we now see. What did they think would happen when they borrowed 200 billion euro to inflate house prices? Imagine borrowing 200 billion euro and having nothing to show for it but high house prices. If high house prices are so great why has FGs support have fallen to 15%?

Jack Chambers needs to look up Frank Aiken and educate himself. Also others may look up the RIC and the picture of Michael Davitt at an eviction in the 1880's during the Land War. The RIC also acted as 'peacekeepers' during evictions as land agents threw people out of their house.

The recent Irish census 2022 reads as follows 10% of the population on 50% of the land and 70% of subsidies grants ,...40% of the population on 39% of the land and 80% marketshare ,,,and 50% of the population on 10% of the land which mostly comprises public space national parks etc...Never in Irish history had there been such bad land management and never have half the Irish people been on less than 10% of their own country...the remaining 1% comprises embassies ,state buildings airports...that's the true picture in Republic of Ireland.

The clear thing in this clip is there’s different tribes here with different ideas , the as I mean ff, fg are about the market and big business . Their false empathy sucks , they no more care about regular people there fixated on Europe and performing on the world stage by showing their numbers … at least the Brits built houses for people .. the question is who’s better off ? Well, talking about immigrants is a pretty irrelevant story. The belief that immigrants are a detriment to society is just bullshit that was generated by the USA in the 1800s to keep non-whites out of the country, and this bullshit was spread then spread to Europe. Only a complete moron would consider immigration as an actual issue. The housing issue, and forced evictions is a REAL issue, as it exacerbates poverty and ensures the rich get richer. How is it irrelevant , it's very relevant . We have this govt. lee by Varadkar and Martin evicting Irish people from their homes yet leaving thousands of migrants , who haven't contributed one penny to the economy , flood into the country . Where are they going to be housed and who is going to pay for them ? Irish tax payers have to foot the bill for their housing , and the govt ensures they won't be evicted .
