Johnson's work reminds us that even though we sometimes wander through hurtful wastelands, we should stick around to see what's over the next ridge ('cause it could be hope and empathy . . . or maybe some mean-ass guitars and, like, gross monsters n' stuff). Great show as always. Johnson's sincerity and passion really showed throughout the interview. I've "killed my darlings" so many times that I'm almost a serial killer at this point 😅. Yet, I'm nowhere near good enough to satisfy myself or my (very small pool of) audience. The only reason I haven't completely stopped, is because I was lucky enough to hear creators like Johnson at the right time. So thank you for doing this, both of you.
