Wow! So impressed with your solo trip that I wish I could like the vlog 10x. Hitting so many beautiful places, getting after all the best food experiences… and such a great attitude! Brava!

Thank you for keeping it real with your solo trip. You don't try to give us this perfect image, And instead give us the realities of traveling. I think the reason I do not typically like travel vlogs is because they seem too perfect and don't show flaws. 💜

Just wanted to give a big thank you for bringing us along - so many beautiful sights, the colors and the textures of the city were amazing. You work very hard and it was nice seeing you enjoy a well earned vacation!

I just discovered your channel recently, and I've been basically binge watching your videos and It's really mind blowing to see you vlog in my home country. I'm really glad you enjoyed your time here and yeah... it was just heartwarming seeing you pass by so many places that I know like the back of my hand and call them beautiful . Also, I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to start my own small business and focus a lil more on my art. Hope you have an amazing dayy ❤

going to a restaurant just about anywhere else tends to be a longer experience--they aren't running food slow, but there isn't really a tipping culture. portugal is one of those places that don't really participate in tipping unless there's like, something REALLY excellent to praise. so because of that, staff don't need to rush people out constantly to keep their paychecks up. food culture tends to be different in general, because here in the states, we have a very "can't spend time eating, i got stuff to do", whereas most of the rest of the world, it's a very important part of their day and culture. oh, and about the video stuff; portugal (and the EU in general) is VERY strict about individual rights. it's not necessarily illegal to vlog, but don't focus and/or zoom in on people, and in general, if someone says "hey, could you not have me in your thing", it's considered good etiquette to not involve em. idk about the specifics of the law, though.

Awwwww.. thank you so much for sharing! Such a honest vlog of your trip to Portugal! Pasteis de Nata are very good! And very different from place to place, that's for sure! Pasteis de Belém have a secret recipe, which makes them technically not a Pastel de Nata, and they are definitelly NOT the best egg tart in Lisbon! But I'm glad you got to sample a bunch of different ones! I am also pleasantly surprised that you liked Fado. That is not a music style for everyone, that's for sure! I love it! I really hope you enjoyed your trip! Take care and rest!

Awesome vlog. What a beautiful place and always the most fancy food. Must cost a fortune to eat like that. You’re so brave to go solo.

Girl I'm so glad you enjoyed visiting and exploring my hometown. Not going to lie when you start talking there is a man that passes by and is just complaining about someone ahahah "male bich" is what he says but not to worry :p The last pastel de nata shop you went is also my moms favourite! I don't know exactly what it is but even when they are the last ones from the day they still taste smooth and just sweet enough. Ps. next time try the pastel de nata with a bit of cinnamon (chef's kiss)

Hi, Julianne! What a great video! ❤ It is true that in Europe, recording people without their permission is illegal, even if they're in the background of the video. You'll probably be fine, but it's got to do with EU privacy laws that apply to every country including Portugal
