This showed up on my feed! Yay- I’m a new subscriber. I loved seeing your travel supplies and hearing you talk through it. I’m working on refining my plein air pack. My latest is a small size clip board I use upside down. I attach my sketchbook at the bottom, clip my palette at the top (about the same size as yours), and attached a 2-pot water clip to the bullfrog clip holding my palette. That way I can set it up and hold it with my left hand and paint with my right. It’s great if there’s no seating, especially. I think the toughest part for me is people wanting to watch me or see what I’ve done. I’m really very mediocre with my skills and feel very self-conscious. That said, I LOVE the process and being so in-the-moment.

You should check out on KZbin the etchr slate art bag. This would have worked perfectly for this trip. You can stand and sketch/paint .
