Tutorial on How To Draw A Dot 1. Get a high standard pen or pencil. Markers are not very efficient when drawing the perfect dot because they tend to smear easily (Including all brands of marker). You do not want to use dry erase markers on a white board because they are erasable and you would want to make your alluring dot as permanent as you can. Sharpies are not very good either but are very permanent. It really depends on your style of writing utensil. 2. Pick a writing surface. Writing surfaces vary from very soft textures or very hard surfaces. You really want to pick the best one for your dot. I prefer the paper of a Pennantia Baylisiana grown from rich dirt given only water from the Angel Falls. But you can pick whatever you'd like. 3. Precisely hold your writing utensil at the perfect angle. It has to be exactly 60 degrees if you want it to have as much depth and beauty as my dots have. 4. Place the tip of your writing utensil on the surface of your choice. Carefully lift up as you see the beautiful dot you've just made. You're very welcome for this amazing tutorial. Tata fellow dot drawers.

I just wonder, if it is exactly the same with the photograph, why is it considered as an 'art'? I am not diminishing his work, sure, because the amount of effort and time and energy he put in his work itself is amazing and respectful. I don't know much about the world of art, as well as hyperrealism, so anyone out there please let me learn what is hyperrealism and why people consider it as an art, not just a copy of reality.

let me ask you a question with due respect to this artist... if he already has the picture why does he spend the next month trying to recreate the picture to get a result he could've gotten in 40 min by messing around in adobe photoshop? My dilemma is... what's the point of realism in art after the invention of hd cameras?
