What I love about your videos is just as you create them, I like that there is no talking, I simply watch them once reading the captions, then again to just enjoy, and then again just as a soothing meditation when I need to chill out. I live right in the middle of California and it is so hot here in the summer and dry! It makes it very difficult to grow flowers, but especially for me because I have many, many cats and my whole yard is their litter box. That tends to kill certain plants, sadly enough! What attracted me to your site is your videos just the way you create them. The incredible vistas and beautiful gardens and relaxing music. They are perfect! I also love your studio time, the pretty products, the cozy space...wonderful. I also create many type of products from organic cleaning solutions made from herbs I grow, to repurposing old furniture and creating fun products from fallen trees. My dream has also been to have my own cozy retail space, but unfortunately, I am too busy working all the time to build my dream. So I love living vicariously through your videos. ... Regarding the trees in your field.... Poplars are a very popular tree in America. You find them pretty much everywhere including in the desert parts of the state of Washington where they are a valuable wind break and provide at least some light shade for the cattle. ... again, I love your world and I can't wait for my next trip to Ireland through your beautiful videos. I only recently found your channel, and it struck such a vibrant chord in me. It is unique in that not only are the visuals lush, but all the background ambiance throughout the video is so relaxing, I imagine it is probably a wonderful source of asmr for some people. I found I sometimes just drift off, dreaming of green. Which is just lovely. So many vlogs focus on the "talking head" format, and whilst those are fine, I think you should continue to follow your own path. I love the mystery and magic of seeing the world from your perspective and in written words. I am a bit of an armchair traveler, and it is perfect to visit ireland without all the fuss of airports and stress that accompanies international travel. Thank you!

Both sides have been in Canada for >150 years, so the connections with each place is a bit lost for me. Your videos bring a bit of the Emerald Isle to my heart. ... I only found you last week and so love the format. Some you tubers just talk too much for me, my faves are people of few words 😂I adore trying to name all the wonderful plants in your garden and have a lot of the same ones in mine. The geranium Rosanne stands out so much. I counted 12 butterfly's on the verbena bonariensis at one time. All the cats just add to the idyll of your world. I'm back home in Southern California and while I don't miss the incessant rain, I DO miss the vibrant greens and all the friendly Irish people we met along the way. Luckily, I have your videos as a reminder of all that beauty! I love the format you use in your videos. Your farm, and garden are just beautiful. Love the kitties as well. Your videos are so quiet and relaxing and they do reflect a slower pace of life. If you ever make it back to NY, I recommend a beautiful area called the Hudson Valley region. One of my favorite destinations. The Adirondacks and Catskills are also just beautiful. If wine is something you enjoy, the Finger Lake region is another area worth visiting, although the Hudson Valley also has many fine wineries,breweries and distilleries. The Culinary Institute of America is also in the Hudson Valley, so there are plenty of great places to eat.. Thank you for another beautiful video.

I love your style and I think you’re right you have to be yourself and that comes across! I was in Florida during hurricane Andrew as well! I was there on a business trip! And everybody left except me and my coworker and a few skeleton crew in the hotel! But we survived with just a little water getting in our rooms! I wanted you to know I saw two videos yesterday of yours, that absolutely fascinated me and touched my heart so deeply! It’s the ones where you went to the folklore museum, the Irish side, and then the American side, etc.! It really put light to what my ancestors went through when they left for America! My great great grandparents, one, Scottish one, Irish, before they married against their parents wishes and came to America. So thank you for that beautiful video of what all those who immigrated endured! One question, how long does it take you to make your videos between filming and editing, etc.? Well, sweet friend you keep up the great work and your beautiful, artistic creations, whether it be video or jewelry or just a beautiful meal you prepare. And take good care! The immigrants journey was certainly eye opening and gives a real insight into the hardships they faced. Regarding your question, it takes me a full week to make one: a day of filming, a day of drone filming, two-three days to edit, a day to upload and set it up on KZbin studio. A long process but I enjoy it 😅🙏💕✨

You know Gillian, I just remembered that I told you wrong. I wasn’t in Florida for hurricane Andrew. It was hurricane Earl! It was so long ago I forgot, and when you said that, it triggered a memory of me being there for a hurricane and I just thought for a second it was Andrew. But it wasn’t. Sorry for my mistake! It’s still pretty scary going through One, but I’m glad we both survived! Hope you have a lovely evening!💜😎✝️🙏🐶🐈‍⬛

Oh yes! Hurricane Andrew was pretty scary, but as I was only a child at the time, it was more exciting than anything 😅. My mom took a photo of us on the hotel balcony with our hair flying in all directions 🌬 😂

Oh yes, I can imagine., When I realized I had told you the wrong hurricane I was in, I looked it up and Andrew was a BAD one! Earl was a very small one. So I can imagine your hair was flying in all different directions. We had water on the first floor of the hotel and some water driven into our rooms but that was it. I am in South Australia and planning a small perennial garden, purple, pink and white and I get so much inspiration from your garden! I have two cats, a birman and a ginger tabby rescue cat. How do you stop them from digging up your beautiful garden to go to the toilet🤦‍♀

Hi - I love your channel!! I usually knit while I watch so two relaxing, mindful activities at the same time:-) I was wondering if you could share the name of the purple and pink flower in your video. It is the one with the tiny flowers on long stems and it was covered with butterflies. I had to have a huge maple tree cut down a bit ago and am now recovering from the loss by planting a pollinator garden in its place. I would love to include that flower. Thanks so much. I spent summers on a dairy farm in Vancouver, Washington, USA so am quite fond of cows. Please give your girls a pet for me.

Aw so glad you enjoyed it Ann! The flower is a verbena bonarensis and it’s a fantastic pollinator plant- I’d highly recommend them. They also very easily self seed, which is a lovely surprise during late summer 🥰✨💕🙏

@@LostForest Thank you so much for the speedy reply :-) Will be on the look out for this plant. I did some research and not all verbenas are created equal. Your variety is the one to grow. Just wanted to add.....my grandpa used to play classical music in the barn when we milked his cows. I don't think he had aa many as you do but he still put a number of milk cans out by the road to be picked up. I am fortunate to have one of those milk cans. I store the dried flowers I collect in it such as blooming artichokes, dried hydrangea, etc. Anyway.....thanks again. Take care.
