I'm glad that he's getting his life back on track. Longtime Manson fan 20+ yrs but I kinda lost track and then read and saw all this 'stuff' about him. I listened to his new song just a few hours ago and I'm glad he's looking better and his sound is good too. Reminds me of the old days and his earlier albums which I love(d) so much.

"Only as sick as the secrets within" Secrets you hide from yourself, within yourself too. Im thinking too from MM's perspective. Im a recovered addict myself and addicts broadly often hide the truth of their affliction from themselves before they acknowledge it and begin recovery. Definitely reckon that he is speaking on multiple levels here.

@@GeorgeTheCloudthis is it man, that's how artistry works. It's a genuine criticism if it's carbon copied or a shameful rip and not a hommage through style and inspiration. OP look at Mechanical Animals. One of his best albums, my personal favourite incidentally, there's so much Bowie in that. Incredibly original and visually stunning. I wonder if Bowie has ever spoke on Manson. I suspect he might appreciate him.

Well, you missed the last 20 years. He fell off for a long time. Some like those years. For me, it never was as good as the first 5 albums (portrait, slc, acs, ma, hw). But this seems like a return to form for him IMO.
