ARTIST REACTS & PAINTS | The Sandman 1x07 "The Doll's House"

Finally making progress on all my shows and episode 7 of Netflix's The Sandman gets one of my favorite coffee paintings so far this series.
Not to mention we're finally getting some more of that sweet, sweet Corinthian goodness, along with an intro to the other "collectors" and our boy Stephen Fry as Gilbert.

It's so true that a lot of smiling is in the eyes. When you were drawing Rose, you drew smiling eyes before the smiling mouth. Respect for your artistry, sir. I also respect your choice to postpone finishing the comic until the show is finished. Of course, we "originalists" didn't have that option. :P Obligatory DC reference: In the comics, Lyta and Hector Hall were ex-superheroes, with pasts complicated by the Crisis on Infinite Earths. They were originally from Earth-2, and members of Infinity Inc, the Teen Titans of Earth-2, made up of children of Justice Society members, Hector the son of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, while Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor was the daughter of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor, named for Diana's mother. When the worlds merged, Lyta became the daughter of a Greek superheroine called Fury who vanished, and she was adopted by the normal-human Trevors, and also took the name Fury, no Amazon link at all. Spoiler: the mythological Fury link was important in the comics, maybe less so in the show, because there are no superheroes. (Late again, I know.)
