Oh Savage Garden - they are school friends who grew up and went to school together just south of my home town of Brisbane. Have a look at "Affirmation" live by them. The lyrics are excellent and the boys are great. Thanks Jorje for another Aussie reaction. ❤❤

No, they didn't know each other until Darren (the singer) auditioned for a band Daniel Jones was in called Red Edge. This was when Darren was in college. Eventually they ditched the other members and became a duo.

Fantastic, pop perfection. So many great songs. Darren's voice so pure and so good. Daniel's guitar great also. Shame they parted ways..they hadthe world at their feet. Oh Tom Thumb is brilliant btw!!

He probably got inspiration from this band, sam perry i mean. Savage garden was wa ahead of their time i feel. The beautiful Orchestra with tbe piano at the end is amazing. Being able to listen to as sone for 10 hours is pretty accurate, that's a sign of amazing musicianship.
