Paint is great when you know how to blend colours, though that challenge was really crazy adding a pet into the mix. Love the finished art work mixing mediums does work though it takes patience to figure out what does together and what does not.

I loved this! It is so much fun to watch you collab with someone, especially someone I have not seen yet but now will. You did amazing! There is no way in 8 hours I could finish something with that much detail. Sidenote: It is somehow comforting to know that I am not the only one who struggles when my cat is near, and she tries to swipe the marker out of my hand while I am coloring. Cats definitely have a mind of their own. Thank you for this!

Lol the Tim tams had me rolling. But I can relate in reverse, somehow I snagged a bag of twix made in Germany (I'm in the US) from my local store, and they were absolutely bitter and inedible to me! The only reason I discovered they were from Germany was when I went to find the number to call and make a complaint about the batch, and what an aha moment that was! I love Aldi when they stock up with German traditions at Christmas! My great grandfather was from Germany and started a bakery when he came to the states. Food is something that keeps me culturally connected to the past to my family when I live states away. Lots of baking his tried and true cookie recipes this time of year! This reminds me of when illustrator Emily live had Paul her lap and he swatted her pencils away, sat on her book ect. 😂😂😂 lucky my dog is just a hair tooo big to be on the desk or my lap. She is my service dog and dose light mobility work. She is a a bit bigger than a mid size goldendoddle, but smaller than full size doddle.

Paint is the medium I like best and the one I am best at (be it oils, gouache or watercolor). That being said, if it came out the way you wanted, then your process was correct! There is no right or wrong way to use paints! I mean, except for the little technical rules like not painting a water based paint over an oil based, only oil based over water based, and so on.

Have to laugh, I legit stopped the video when the anagram list was up, and spent time figuring out what each of them were. Took me way longer than it should have to get Pocahontas, and Sleeping Beauty threw me because I actually forgot about it! Lol! Those round cake-like cookie - ish things you had there look like Elisenkuchen, one of the many types of Lebkuchen we got here in Germany - which in turn are really similar to gingerbread. Sooo, not a bad guess at all :3 And you did awesome with the paints, they could be such a pain in the ass with such small detailed areas :)

I only use liner brushes when painting I have always had problems with larger brushes they always feel like I’m painting with me thumbs only, I have been painting since I was 6 and only ever used liner brushes because I could get the affects I love with them. Loved your picture I have never thought of using paints on a colouring book but now I think it’s time to pull them out so thank you for that 🤗🤗🤗
