I can’t pretend I’m not disappointed that Makoto and Dudley aren’t in Season 2, but honestly Terry and Mai are mind blowing inclusions so I can’t be that upset. I figured it would be Bison, Vega, or Sagat to be the big name character like Akuma was in S1. Elena is honestly the only one I might actually play though lol

I’m not against guest characters, but in context of SF6’s current roster in both size and ratio of new vs old characters, it’s disappointing. I’m just lucky that Elena was a character in my personal wishlist.

The Strive character passes are cheaper than the SF6 base pass and include the two stages. I want SF6 to make money, but high DLC prices in a full priced game that already has predatory freemium currency? I can't support this.

For real, but no one is talking about it. 30 bucks for 4 characters. Seriously !? The worts part of it is that one character costs 300 FC, but i can only buy a pack of 250 FC or 600 FC. Anyway, I'll get the dlc when the price will get a huge discount, something like 10 bucks.

@@jigobame2669 well no one really talks about it cuz most people dont care and will buy cuz the game got their character also you have to understand that they are using mocap with their RE engine which is a lot of resources and then they gotta implement them into WT which is something else that takes time. i do agree on its predatory to make characters cost 300 FC but we cant buy 300 FC. if WT wasnt a thing then we would most likely get 5 characters per season or we'd get characters slightly quicker

The people disappointed are only so because they don't understand how important this is to Capcom and SNKs relationship, what it means for the future and is a potential gateway to CVS3! Not only this, but a monumental occasion for fighting games and a big moment in history for Capcom! This is awesome and my characters I want can wait because they've already started this game will be called for more support than 5. Meaning we could expect 8-10 years of Street Fighter 6

I highly doubt they'll release a CvS3 anytime soon, Capcom doesn't want to compete with themselves in the FG space like they used to. It also wouldn't make any sense for a new CvS when SNK is about to release their new game as well. CvS2 is sick but the FGC and the FG industry ain't the same anymore.

I mean at first I was disappointed they went in the direction of bringing guest characters like every other fighting game but as well as Bison returning for story/lore purposes. But after a while I look at the roster and say to myself this is fine, this the set of diversity with having characters with various fighting styles & and backgrounds. I'm still not thrill by all this but I am intrigue to trying them out, doesn't mean I'm interested to go and play KOF or Fatal Fury after this tho if that's the marketing idea tho. Also since no one ask, I already called that Elena was returning so I'm hoping for Adon, Vega, Hakan, Necalli & Rose to come next. If not season 3 but later down the line.

I'm not going to pretend by having fake hype like most of these delusional fanboys have. To keep it real it's very disappointing that guest characters are taking up 50% of the lineup which is just completely nonsensical and a complete waste. The lineup just mostly feels very stale, unimaginative, nonsensical, uninteresting, repetitive, and corporately forced. It's completely tone deaf from what many SF fans wanted. You would think Capcom would have the common sense to know SF fans want to play SF characters in a SF game. Not some lame generic one off guest characters who aren't coming back in the future and steal spots from actual SF characters. There's still a bunch of way more interesting, popular, and heavily requested SF characters that deserve to be in the game more than most of these lame picks. Also, Nash has died completely for nothing now and SFV is pointless which is just a pathetic joke. I just feel like Capcom made mostly all of these character picks only because of sex appeal, cheap broad popularity, and money alone. It just feels like a very scummy inauthentic desperate move and doesn't really make sense to have most of these characters this early over clearly more deserving SF characters that fans have wanted back for years. Mostly all of these picks don't bring anything new or interesting to the game except maybe Elena. Terry is just another mostly lame generic shoto in a game where there is already too many. Basically, Ken with a trucker hat and jeans. Mai is one of the least interesting and most unimaginative female characters ever in an SNK game and was only picked because of sex appeal towards braindead horny gamers. She's just another less interesting Chun-Li. Bison looks like the same old boring shit we've already seen too many times before only now he's got the most unimaginative nonsensical shit like having a horse and looking like a hobo. His design looks awful too like they just threw random ideas together because they thought it would look cool. He still looks like a complete cartoonish joke of a villain and in almost every aspect looks very out of place in SF6. He's pointless in a game where there is already a much better and more interesting villain who uses psycho power in JP. Also only having 4 characters for over a year is terrible for how much Capcom is overpricing all this shit. There needs to be more than 4 because that is a dam ripoff especially for $70. I wouldn't have nearly as many problems with this season if it was 5-6 characters and only one guest character because then the price would feel somewhat justified. All this just tells me that the games director has completely lost touch because now it looks like a complete scummy lame waste of a season. Just more of the same old shit from last season only somehow worse. Capcom is truly creatively bankrupt now. Whats worse it their just going keep nickel and diming their delusional fanboys so they can exploit them as much as possible. Once again glad I didn't waste my money on this game because Crapcom is clearly still alive and well. People still wonder why games popularity has fell off a cliff since launch and why it will only continue to do that this season. It's because people realized just how scummy and hollow the game truly is. I guess i'll check back in next year to see if they’re going to do anything interesting with this game but i'm not getting my hopes up.

Elena is that one character no one cared about in any of the games. But then a bunch of people who probably either didn't play or weren't invested in the previous games start hyping her up for no reason other than " she brings a breath of fresh air to the game". I never played KOF, so I was pretty excited to see both Terry and Mai, though I can understand other people’s disappointment in not getting the character they wanted because of the guest spots. I’m also curious about the timeline - Bison’s coming out so soon compared to Rashid (and so soon after Akuma tbh), that it kind of makes me think they want to get Terry out in early fall kind of like they did with AKI. I just hope they keep the momentum with Mai and Elena and don’t have another huge break

I have no objections against the character reveals and the addition to SNK. Only thing that I wish they did was make M. Bison last instead of first. If it was up to me I would release the characters in this order Elena Terry Mai M.Bison Like give me someone I’m familiar with (Elena). Then drop the new people in later to gather hype because things will die down with the first character (Terry and Mai) and lastly drop the guy with the biggest hype (Bison)

I'm about to watch the "Buffs and Nerfs explained" video, but apart from that, is there anything that should be revised from your combo guide? I know Ryu got touched substantially and some stuff changed for him and I'd like to know if that old (10 months or so) video of yours is still applicable or if I shoul do other stuff. Everyone is disappointed because they used 2 slots for guest characters. But as a KoF fan, I'm all over the walls lol, and to add some more excitement, there's a new Fatal Fury coming out after 25 years. In fact, contrary to what seems to be literally everyone, I couldn't care less about Elena. I do wish for some SF3 characters tho, mainly Makoto (like everyone else) and Ibuki. Then from the Alpha series I'd love: Sakura (another fan favourite) Karin, Rose, Eagle, the overhated Ingrid, Maki (the girl that only appeared on a GBA game) and Guy. Not many from 4, mainly C.Viper. Poison will probably come because hornyness sells. And from 5 I definitively want to see Kolin again, I mained her :( also Lucia. And either Vega or a new spanish character, I just want some spanish representation, hell if we are takign guest characters I'll gladly take Miguel from Tekken (that won't happen lol). If we get vega tho, I'd want a rework, make him have his claw permanently, losing it and having to pick it up is a pain in the ass. So yeah that's my wishlist, 12 + the assumption of Poison + 22 already in game +4 already announced = 39, minus the ones that will probably not come (Guy, Lucia, Ingrid and Maki, yeah that's probably not gonna happen) leaves plenty of room for other characters, assuming that we'll end up with a simmilar roster size as 4 and 5

5 characters would have been better, but i guess, if this game gets support for atleast 8 seasons, we will already have 50 characters. Releasing more each season will make it more interesting, but also way harder to balance and design those characters... so when the quality we get is not getting worse, only because of the big time windows they release characters and patches in, i'm all for it. But KINDA hard to believe that they could not add 1 or 2 characters more each season, without lowering quality...

ONE guest character would have been cool, but TWO is not cool. We want SF characters in our SF game and i think that's just a basic simple ask of Capcom. Once again, a fumble by them. At least SF5 Season 2 had SIX characters. Hated that game, but i give them credit for at least keeping content rolling. Waiting a year AGAIN for FOUR characters is pathetic. They're going to do that 5 month draught of content again and YOU KNOW IT DUDE lol Every other game out there pumps out more content! Call of Duty gives you two new weapons, new operator soldiers, and weapon balancing every 3-4 MONTHS! Fort Nite is CONSTANTLY receiving changes and updates! X DEfiant from Ubisoft is CONSTANTLY communicating to their scene on Twitter and giving feedback to upcoming changes. Mortal Kombat is CONSTANTLY seeing engagement from Ed Boon and dropping hints and info on MK11 Meanwhile Capcom just drops avatar costumes and does one balance patch a year and gives us 4 characters in a year. BS This is a PAID game and its not free to play. The content is terrible.
