You click into what I call "rush mode". You are able to pump out drink after drink without really stopping to ponder, and you do it in the most efficient way possible. It's an awesome feeling, and one reason why I personally love it when we get big rushes of people in my coffee shop.

my favorite thing about watching fellow baristas who are far better than me is observing how they move. it never seems forced, fast or unnatural. watching baristas who have been serving coffee for years move as fluidly as the water is so brilliant.

Thanks Caleb, really appreciate it. I’ve worked around 12 years on and off in cafes and espresso bars. So I’m pretty comfortable behind a machine. Under 2 years as a barista, used to be a bartender and i've really got to say this is a perfect workflow you've got, my workflow is pretty similar in every aspect but without all the equipments like a milk dispenser, puq press, 3 group head la morzocco machine and i don't even have a pitcher rinser 🤣 but man it's my dream to open up my own cafe with all the fancy equipments one day! Looking at slayer espresso though! worked with la morzocco machines before & they are a workhorse but aesthetically slayer defo wins imo. Keep up the good work!!

5 years as a barista and I'm in love with the design of the bar: grinders with doses by weight, auto tamper, milk dispenser, pitcher rinsers... Every is full planned and the workflow is never interrupted. And the sort of alternative milks and coffee beans origins and decaf... Some day I wish have a espresso bar like this. I worked as solo barista too (and serving tables at the same time), but in my city the time you took is usually a really bad 2 star review, because the customer came late to work for a few minutes, and here is an example: Once you got the first customer you could start doing the charge with one hand, and ordering on the tablet with the other one until the ground is done. Then you could start dropping the coffe on the cup and while it fills up you can charge the customer, after that heat the milk and start with the latte art ,last is closing the table and saving the ticket once the customer is already served (i would use a stapler to be faster). The details in how organized and smart-working you are,the more unique and faster employer you can become, and last but most important, never stop learning new things and ways to work. (I worked with foreigns too and they didnt even understand how fast we worked, they usually said we got too much blood so i asume it depends on the place you live and how people can "wait")

My thoughts on the workflow, the obvious bottleneck is the screen logging & billing, if that were to be addressed, you'd have time to clean the front windows & vacuum the floors. 😉 No kidding, your performance is indelibly etched in my memory. Nice to see videos of Barista working in real time but I have to say as a professional barista of more than 10 years experience plus coffee shop owner, that he is working pretty slow, looking at the beginning, when he started to take the second order, he didn‘t even start with the preparation, customers lack time especially in the morning, he could cut a lot but being more organize when he is working alone, there is still mich to improve in his workflow, for example having the milk ready to foam and at soon as the customers finish giving the order start with the coffee grinder.

Late to the party but probably the most satisfying vid I've seen in a while. The fluidness of how you operate is art!

You are lucky customers find you on your machine but here you get orders from customers in their cars outside which makes the game more interesting 😍🥰

Was a barista at a cafe we only had a double group head machine, would take orders just like this and need to balance making drinks and taking orders. Having serious flashbacks, nothing more stressful then a rush and long line and then screwing up and using almond milk for a triple latte instead of soy or something goofy, and having no one else to blame but yourself!

Love this. Everyone is having flashbacks 😂 you’re not wrong, only you to blame.

Amazing 🤩 I start to work in a small coffee shop. And my boss he served more than 10 people same time and serving food, taking uber eats order. And I still can’t take more than 3 orders same time 😅

Great video, you should definitely do more of these. and love the clean, well considered work space with all the toys. Very jealous haha also, if you dont have to split your milk, try spinning the sugar in the milk - ensures it gets dissolved and quicker than stirring it in ✌

glad you enjoyed it. I'll try the sugar in the milk but would be hesitant because any wastage of milk would leave behind some of the sugar. Interested to see how it effects the milk though. Cheers

@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Good point, have to dump a lot of shots if adjusting and changing. Also only good when you firing repeatedly, probably not the best for quite times, shots theorectically no good if left to long.

I'm getting into this coffee business and this is a great video for me. I also watched the other one where you and your friend managed a rush hour so beautifully without spilling any milk 😅. One small suggestion from a fellow enthusiast: perhaps it would be better not to stack cups with fresh ink on them. (Outside of one cup with fresh ink rubs against the inside of another)
