Im of the view that IAF pilots should not be allowed for commercial plane flying retired IAF pilots should be strictly prohibited from flying passenger planes there should be strict guidelines regarding recruitment. It would be better if companies only hire pilots undergoing their own training centers rather than recruiting fighter pilots for commercial planes.

If the plane has overshot the runway then it is miscalculation at the part of pilots who touched down the runway far beyond touch point resulting in less runway remaining for airplane to stop. Had they touched on right point plane would have stopped.
