Just got mine two days ago. “Intuition takes over” is exactly right… never played a synth that drew music so quickly out of the box.

Thanks a lot! For us, Osmose is "not even a synth". We really see Osmose as an "acoustic instrument", feeling-wise. We wanted people to be physically connected with the keybed and express themselves just like a singer would. Hence our "be one with sound" tagline! :D

The Osmose is amazing, it is very expressive keyboard indeed but very very difficult to program on the computer (I have one). Flying Lotus says that the CS80 has been surpassed! I think that is a “hot-click -bate” statement. He is comparing apples to oranges.

For decades electronic keyboard players have been screaming for Poly AT with release velocity to be brought back done right using newer tech, so Great to see this happening! However... space on a KB rack is limited so a 73 key version with controller functions supporting what is needed for high resolution key response would be hard to beat especially if the key action was a high-quality weighted synth action with programable response rate timing done in hardware. IMO done right a spring working with a magnet and the correct key mass and moment arm can result in variable aspects of key response such as escapement on different types of piano action as well as the ideal synth action for a particular mode of rhythm and expression. Can't wait to see what the future brings on the good side of Life as Capt. Karma deals with the other side.

at 4:15 the synth horn played, is this sound from the Osmose only ? or at all The Osmose has great sound, but this sound seems different, almost like it's layered with another very similar timbre on the attack, or just a stand-alone analog played by MIDI ? Dare I say it could be a CS-80 ? If not and this is just the Osmose, then what patch number is this one? If not factory can you post it?
