The Goddess Artemis is the being torn to 5 pieces which gave birth to 5 of them. All 5 of them is ARTMS.

There's 2 different scenes with her being torn in pieces ( first of all in the mythology she never was, she changed Agamemnon into a deer and let him be torn appart by his own dogs) one scene where there is 5 pieces and another where there is 7 pieces. So 12 pieces....Loona

what you said about them carving out their own unique, cohesive identity is exactly what i said upon watching this for the first time. it's definitely something that isn't a world away from much of what loona was doing (the 'one' teaser in particular) and yet is incredibly distinct and new for them. it's the perfect new start (or 'birth') for them and the perfect foil to loossemble's music and style.

I 1000% think this was the PERFECT song to release FIRST. It's a *statement*: "THIS is ARTMS". Right away it defines ARTMS as something NOT Loona (because inevitably they and Loossemble will be compared with Loona). I was super worried that too many people would think it too weird and just write off ARTMS forever, but thankfully the majority of fans, even those who didn't vote for "Birth" in the competition, are totally obsessed with the song, the MV, and what everything within it MEANS (which of course, was a hallmark of early Loona). I am so incredibly on board the ARTMS hype train...!

@@ShinTraci9684 i must be wrong but i think onlyoneof first releases were suppoosed to be yyxy repackage album, because it was jaden jeong first project (beside Neon by Yukika) after leaving LOONA/BBC and this is the description of the song which has a loooot of references to things LOONA YYXY were doing at that time: OnlyOneOf’s debut title track ‘savanna’ represented a ‘forbidden fruit.’ The track expressed fatal beauty that comes along with a sense of mirth and euphoria through its lyrics like ‘you can get drenched and intoxicated’, while the track ‘sage’ is about the salvation after the journey of a delight and hedonism. This message that the track ‘sage’ is projecting is reflected musically through up-tempo and highly rhythmical vibe that expresses sense of desperateness, which is contrasted with ‘savanna’s’ chill and laid-back vibe. OnlyOneOf projects extreme desperateness through the lyrics “forgive my sins”, “I beg you to give me salvation”, but God turns his back on them. It must be not related but its a pretty unique situation if we know the background of the creative director, loona, etc

Just in case anyone doesn’t know but this is not the title track but a B-Side and it’s the first premiere track, there is to be 4 premiere tracks in total(unsure if premiere tracks 2 to 4 will have an MV because unlike those ones “Birth” was voted by OURII to be the one to have a MV) with the title track “Virtual Angel” & the full length album “Dall” getting released on May 31st. Side note: For anyone curious the album will have 11 tracks! “Birth” is the 11th track on the album so I guess you could consider it to be the outro of the album!

There's four premier singles that have a schedule for release. First one was Birth (released on 29/03), to be followed by Candy Crush (11/04), Flower Rhythm (25/04), and last one will be Virtual Angel (10/05) which was assigned as title track. The actual album will be released 31/05. So we should probably expect at least Virtual Angel to have an MV (unless major forces dictate otherwise), since it's the title track and it's scheduled to be released more than a month later. It needs that MV (not to mention the album itself needs that promotion as well)

Modhaus did a Gravity for ARMTS on the COSMO app. They presented us with 4 demos. Who ever wins first place will a pre release MV. The 2nd placer will be a bside on the album. 3rd and 4th wont be in the album. BIRTH WON FIRST PLACE.

if you felt like if this was similar to loonas old stuff, youd be right! theyre back with a lot of the old team that did the solos-butterfly era. even down to getting digipedi back for the mvs! jaden rlly does have a vision and were finally seeing it click with modhaus. also the yyxy feeling was correct! the members kinda emphasize how they are one with artms (the glowing being). in the album inclusions theres an "eden invitation" so it seems like artms might get to explore more yyxy-isms that jaden didnt get to before.

Artemis is the Goddess of: - hunting - virginity - forest - birth and Moon as well as Guardian of Women and Children Correct there will be 3 more Pre Releases: Flower Rythm - April 11th Candy Crush - April 25th Air - May 10th Full Album Release - May 31st MY THEORY of the Lore (which is completely different from what the Girls themselves have talked about In their MV Reaction) : In the PTT (Paint The Town) MV the Loonaverse was reset/erased (with Kim Lip creating a Black Hole & HyunJin creating a new Möbius Strip (the Gold fabric around her in PTT)) and with the Flip That MV Loona announced basically that everything within the Loonaverse is flipped and a new Journey Begins and that is still the Case for ARTMS (& ODD EYE CIRCLE) , Loossemble, CHUU (& Yves in the Future once she had her Official Solo Debut/Comeback) For example in HaSeul's Final Concept Image for the Birth Release (on Instagram) You could See her on a Table with a Pear on her Plate and other Food (also in the MV) which is reminiscend of the Loona Sub Unit yyxy because originally this Sub Unit used to have asigned Fruits Loossemble & ARTMS should be rather viewed as New Sub Units of Loona than as new Groups So everything is still very much Loona but in a different POV Also even though it seems they have Reset everything it seems like Artemis is taking Revenge on them for burning the Moon and she possibly took over Jinsoul's Body (the Line "I could gather ex Boyfriends" seems to be said by Artemis through Jinsoul) also the Arrow in the Beginning is Dark Blue like Jinsoul's Color Also People theorizing that ARTMS & Loossemble are connected with their Comebacks which could be confirmed by the 10 Stars seen in the Birth MV there is 1 Quick frame that Shows them very faintly at 0:06 in the MV (5 Members in ARTMS & 5 Members in Loossemble) also the first Concept Images of ARTMS had flowers as a Background that Look similar to the Cover Art of Loossemble's Comeback
