Finding your favorite interval between toms is the foundation of your sound IMHO. And if you always wanna get it right, just try and match the “LA CUCARACHA” theme starting by the floor Tom. Not kidding, you’ll thank me later!

I started experimenting with tuning the batter head higher than the reso, because it's easier to play faster patterns and the decay is much quicker. Would love to see or hear if you have any experience with that method.

Silk Sonic and Steve Smith toms sounded best to me, though the punch on the Metallica kit is quite a thing. Having said that, the Gretsch kit in the video has a great all-around sound, as I would only expect from you guys. Great video.

Prima erklärt, machmal ist aber erforderlich die Methode "drehen bis falte weg und wieder ne halbe zurück" anzuwenden, da es oft felle gibt bei wo faltenstelle nicht zur stimmschraube passt..

Seems I always have some cross talk going on and it seems to come mainly from my 12". I don't Mike or record when I play I just jam to songs I like so it doesn't really bug cause it gets lost in everything else going on.

Sure, but when it goes missing or decides not to work for you, it's good to have basic tuning skills down!
