This is a great painting. I always enjoy the process. It is the most rewarding experience in a painting. Patience is so much needed when you paint in oils. At times I rush, but I have learned to slow down and be true to the subject I’m painting. I love to paint in layers but at the moment I’m practicing Alla Prima, then continue with layers.
