JBTechCon...LOL...yes, it's awesome..TJ doing Prince'e Kiss was brilliant...it changed his career..and he's still performing well into his mid 80s...he is a poster man for not being ageist. (not sure that came out right) but my point is he is an anachronism..he has probably had the longest career of anyone. And is still amazing, still has the voice. Not busting the moves anymore but still able to put that sensuality into everything he sings. I like the choices he is making now...gospel, blues, Tower of Song. All that weird stuff he did to get the ladies worked up made him very wealthy, but it was always the voice that sustained him...his dancing was like no other...when he had his own TV show. There is a great video of him collaborating with Van Morrison called I Aint Feelin It No More.

@@jschuler53 Yes, indeed. But let's not forget that Tom Jones as many artists of the 60's changed their careers more than once. And the ones are the ones who are still entertaining us nowadays. Tom Jones has never done a “remake”, he ALWAYS produces a “re-interpretation”. Nobody,s gonna’ challenge Prince, especially cutting a Prince original song. What makes TJ so strong an artist is his genuine being. TJ takes this tune, uses it as a base, & says “I’m Tom Jones. Here’s my take of a great song by Prince”! Damn, the result is “vitality” incarnate. It’s a thrill ride! Very nice work, Art Of Noise. Y’all did a RESPECTABLE job w/a tough task. I LOVE “KISS” (both versions). Kudos, folks! 👍

I worked in a hotel on the Gold Coast, Australia. He'd done a show in Brisbane (our states capital city). I had the pleasure of meeting him and his CONSIDERABLE entourage. Escorted him to the penthouse room. Only after his 9 foot high body guard checked out EVERYTHING first. Including insisting on the names and details of EVERYONE two floors below him. I got a fax (early 90s) from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre breaking down how much he'd got for the night, fees deducted, where the money was transferred (ALL over the place...accounts in lots of countries and into Gold everywhere 😱) Couple of hundred K, for ONE night show He's WEALTHY my friends. Very very wealthy Lovely bloke. Smokes cigars to keep his voice bassy. Also carries a HUGE room humidifier with him. Same reason, for the voice. HATES aircon. His body guard...🤯🤯 Man, I wouldn't want to meet him in a back alley and call him names
