1) Falling behind on study notes 2) Make notes one week ahead and do one subject a day 3) Integrate HSC questions into notes because ultimately that is what you are being tested on in the exams and if you cannot answer that then you are stuffed.

I think it's OK to not know your idea yet! I think the main thing is this term to spend time trying to develop your idea, so you can use the summer holidays effectively to make significant progress!

I'm about to start Year 11 in about 1-2 weeks, do you have any tips that I could take on board? Maybe how to get over procrastination and to stay motivated and disciplined while studying? And should I be studying in Year 11? If so, for how long?

How do I make study notes before they teach the content? I make my notes of what is covered in class. I am very confused in that manner can I get some help Rowan. Can I also get tips on how I make study notes in general.
@ArtofSmartTV3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! One way you can make study notes beforehand is by using your textbook however if you don't, you may be able to ask your teacher for their slides beforehand. Either way, you should always know what's coming up next by looking at your syllabus :) We've got this super comprehensive article on writing study notes so be sure to take a look and hopefully it helps you out! artofsmart.com.au/study/effective-hsc-study-notes/

Hey there , that video was really helpful, however in my case I kinda slacked off the beginning of my year 12 journey. And I’m looking forward to come back, but it’s hard to stay mentally motivated to study when you get bad results at the start. Is it possible for me to recover?

Definitely! You've still got roughly 75% of your total marks for your HSC on the table still, so plenty of opportunity to make a turn around :)

1. Who cares about scaling. Literally who cares. 2. Pay attention in class and study. 3. All depends on your schedule and how much effort you want to put in.

From prior HSC exam papers available from NESA, or from School Trial papers :)

Hi Rowan, sorry if this has been already asked before, but is there any difference between notes in class and study notes? Thanks in advance
@ArtofSmartTV4 жыл бұрын
Good question. Class notes are not study notes. Class notes aren't necessarily structured around the syllabus, and intentionally structured to cover all the key content from multiple sources. They simple are a record of what you did in class that day.
