@@Szgerle Experimental Map-making is the future of Brood war. Since there are no balance patches it's one of the few ways the game has left to naturally evolve.

I know players hate this map but as a viewer I like having one crazy map in the map pool. Hope we keep seeing map makers taking these wonky ideas and making new maps that are weird but hopefully more balanced

IIRC, SC lore says that CMC suits give some speed boost to experienced users, so they can march at higher speeds without getting tired for quite a long time.

Players may not like nonstandard maps like Monty Hall or Troy. But for viewers, some of the most entertaining and memorable matches occur on such maps.

No, both those maps are the worst maps. I just skip games with those maps nowadays. This is the first Monty Hall game I've seen in a month and it's exactly why I started skipping them.

2:37 The marine's planted foot still skates forward, because they are wearing heelys 🛼 , and doing the 'shuffle'. Similar to how ice skaters skate across frozen lakes, when cold weather brings chills.

It is good to see games like this. Kind of like how TV messed up poker making people believe every hand was an all in nail biter. It is good for us to see some standard stuff like this. Thanks for the video.

We barely hear Zerg music here, which is second best after Terran. I'm guessing it's based on race matchup, i.e if it's a TvP it's protoss or Terran music, etc.?

(spoiler btw) In terms of your question Arty, I'm no pro or anything but probably the best way to try and win from a really bad position would be to think about how you would win from your opponents perspective (ex. Thinking what is Light most likely to do to kill me) and then countering that

Sacsri's play was awful on every level. Why would he not build a sunken to counter the bunker? Why would he build overlords out of the bunkered hatch? Shouldn't he be building zerglings? That's not to even mention the way he didn't micro his overlord with his hydras or micro the group going up the centre lane at all. What a mess.
