Rauschenberg and Johns were "friends". Sure, but they were also lovers for years. I guess this is what's called a "biblically centred" education.

The whole thing that was said about becoming aware of the writing made me actually think about the Winnie the Pooh movie where they begin to put the characters inside the text as the narrator is reading and the text itself becomes a part of the story. There is even a part where the text falls into a pit and they use that to climb out.

it's really stressfull to listen to this talk. I had to stop the vid after 10 min. Idk if it is the voice or the way the presenter speaks, but it gives me chills, so that i can't conetrate on the content. Also I dont get the content. It seems there's no focus in this talk. Sry.

+Donald Waits, as a student of Johns and Rauschenberg's work and Art in general as well as collected painter, i politely disagree. though the information is not new, i found it easy to digest and share it with my friends who are NOT knowledgeable about Art.

Perhaps the Human Being presenting lecture could give an interesting, engaging talk re a subject they are passionate about. Obviously Black Mountain artists are not that subject. Seems as though you'd have to work rather hard to make John Cage, Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg appear uninteresting bu† Anderson comes through
