This is a good high school band. And I have heard a lot of them. Kudos to the director for the crazy amount of time put in to develop this group. High school bands don't usually have this much patience and control. Too many show offs trying to get the limelight but not here.

It's fun listening to all the Emperata performances on KZbin. I performed this with UOP Music Band Camp (high schoolers) in 1973. We have an awesome vinyl of it... I played French horn....a beautiful part for us. This performance is one of the best ones here.
