I so agree with Elli on so much of what she said. For me, i decided years ago that I was going to put my art journey in God's hands and in turn, my overall success is what He has planned in my journey. All else filters down from there, my goals, my decisions, "all the things!" I love listening to these podcasts. They have such an impact in my life and thoughts.

I feel the same. I thank God everyday for creating me with the heart of an artist. The things God has planned for us are always better than anything we can imagine.

My dad used to say, see what you want for yourself in 5 years in your imagination then turn while you’re in that place, look back to where you are now, eliminate right now what stops those goals. Then make decisions yes or no…does this fulfil my goal or not. Your goals may change as you understand why you set goals. Be fair on yourself and others

Elli it's a great cause! Very nice podcast today. I am 60 years old and still very undisciplined. I have to stop dreaming and start doing!

This resonates with me so much! You can't help but change after seeing Out of Shadows. Watching your videos and what you're about is the biggest synchronicity. Don't stop! In losing my house, I found out what I wanted to be when I grew up and I found you. God Bliss.

Love all your podcasts. All of them are so deep. Sometimes discipline is a little difficult. Will definitely read some of those books❤

This was such a an inspiration to me. I am one of those "don't set a goal and you won't fail" peeps, but I now realize I am failing by not setting goals and limits.. Needed this!

I love how in tune spiritually you are Elli. I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience. It's all connected and it's important to know who we are , why we are here and what's driving us to create. I was also thinking how cool it is that you guys have a good relationship. Many people aren't as fortunate when it comes to in-laws. God’s hand in your lives is evident to me for many reasons since I discovered your channel.

the bit on the heart getting sick when we invest so much of our inspiration into something that doesn't click, or resonate with the amount of people we need to feel a visceral motivation, really puts into words what discourages so many artists. Even artists with extraordinary talent and imagination. Having the determination to get our heart's work seen is a ruthless battle against self-doubt. Oy! well said! Inspiring podcast!

I needed to hear this today. I need to make a shift in many areas and be more intentional. I have a horrible habit of just winging it with everything.

This podcast really helped! I realized that I had been trained into no-discipline. I'm in my 50's now. It will take some doing, probably, to change that. But here goes! Thank you again! Jen. PS, I've been on Elli's email list for some months now. So, I'm one of the 100,000. :)

I loved this video. Thank you both so very much. I have been binge watching all the videos that I can that you put out on art social and I'm very grateful to you. Thank you! I've always been told to set goals to write them down otherwise they are not goals they're just dreams and I am going to make it a must this time. This message was very impactful for me thank you again! ❤

I go through cycles like Jake shared. I have been this way all my life, yet all of my passions have creativity in common with each other. I have been told many times that it's likely I have ADHD and I do seem to relate to most of the tendencies associated with that. I dunno though. I am still working through finding balance and using my inclinations to be more productive. I find it annoying, but it's also an asset at times. Painting feels most like my purpose, but I am a Jane of all trades, and want to be a master of some. Lol

Loved this podcast very much. Thanks so much. Ellie, are you so little in real life, or are you sitting on a giant chair that makes you look so tiny 😄 Was hard to not smile all the time. 😂
