I just got the joke at the very end, where Vader says "I would do it properly, I would lead him somewhere private, take his hand, maybe give them an exciting business opportunity" In the movie, he leads luke away while they fight, cuts off his hand(takes it) and then tells him he is Luke's father, proposing to him to join the sith as well.
