Ps 2022: 1. Convert/rexport the Grid.webp you got from the link to .png 2. Ctrl+F and type "spherical panorama." 2.1. For reference, the actual path is Menu Bar > 3D > Spherical Panorama > Import Panorama Edit: to draw over grid and maintain positioning, do JONSIE's solution, but on his step 2, do Menu Bar > 3D > Spherical Panorama > Import Panorama instead

FIX: I figured it out! If your having trouble drawing over the grid layer instead of on it. 1. When you import the grid.jpeg into your scene. Create a blank layer above it, then select both of them. 2. The go into the 3D menu and turn the sleeted images into a panorama. 3. Ps should have created two texture layers when creating the panorama, so now you should be able to draw and erase over the grid while using the V key to move the grid around.
@RagsTattoo6 жыл бұрын
I didn't understand it. Where exactly should I go after selecting them to turn into panorama?

You can have more layers in your texture (especially useful for the Grid option). 1. Go to edit texture, min 18:50 2. Create a new layer 3. Save 4. Keep working on the original canvas.

If anyone is wondering how do you actually get to edit texture in newer versions of Photoshop: 1. In your layers panel, under Spherical Panorama layer, you'll see something called "SphericalMap" (it's under "Diffuse") 2. Double click on it!

Jama is using a workaround in this tutorial (I don't think he realizes). He is not rotating the camera around his axis, instead he's rotating the whole sphere. You can see the weird way it's rotating. (this would not happen when you rotate the camera) The optimal way would be to select the current/view (in the 3d-window) and then rotate with the rotating-tool. BUT there is a bug (at least for me) where this tool not only changes the x-z angle, but also the x-y-z coordinates (despite having the camera and the sphere on the same coordinates). So, the workaround (like Jama's doing it) would be: 1. Check if the coordinates of the current view and the sphere are the same (you can find the in the properties-window) 2. Select the sphere (in the 3d-window) 3. Use rotate tool Additionally, you also could change the angle of the current view manually.
@Ayan_13917 жыл бұрын

Ayan Nag There's a way, it's kinda a workaround: Beware: You will always draw on the layer on the top of the texture-file, so you can't put your grid on top (therefore i'd call this a workaround, but maybe i'm just doing something wrong) My workaround: 1. Open the texture-file (probably called SphericalMap.psb) 1.1 select material in 3d-window 1.2 in properties-window click button next to object-color 1.3 choose "Edit texture" 2. Import grid 3. Move grid-layer to the bottom, below texture-layer 4. change layer mode of texture-layer to "multiply" 5. save texture-file

How to fix the camera out from the Sphere: After I spend like 2 months to fix this problem, I found the solution. The problem is in the Photoshop language different from English GB. If you go in the folder Application/Locales/ try to rename the folder inside and launch Photoshop. Example in my case I've it_IT, and I renamed it in it_ITb. When you're launching Photoshop there will be an error message where Photoshop can't find a shortcut. Press Ok and keep going. Try to create a Panoramic Sphere. If the camera works perfectly, uninstall Photoshop without keep preference. Go to the Creative Cloud app, and in the gear of the preference change the language to English International. After install again Photoshop, and enjoy your Pano!
